To express preferences for activities we need to know:

a) Preference verbs: love – like – enjoy – dislike – hate

b) Activities (gerunds = verbs + ing): fishing, cooking, dancing, playing

c) Grammar rules: - in positive sentences, if the person who performs the action is a third person singluar (any noun

that can be sustituted by he – she – it) we have to add an –s at the end of the verb.

- in negative sentences, we write don’t before the preference verb.example: they don’t like going to the cinema

if the person who performs the action is a third person singular, we write doesn’texample: My mother doesn’t like dancing tango
