• Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has more than 145,000 students in 161 schools

• 50% of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch

THE BIG PICTUREThe Big Picture is a dynamic health education and community outreach initiative that is solely written and performed by and for adolescent youth.

Based on data from the Centers for Disease Control Youth Risk and Behaviors Survey, this youth initiative addresses current trends and health-related issues facing teens today, with a focus on positive behavioral and health choices.
