The essence of these Awards is to discover and reward exceptional women who – through leadership, entrepreneurialism, mentoring skills and/or ideas – stand out from their colleagues. We also recognise the men who have helped them to realise their success. In all categories, judges are looking for companies or individuals who have made a real difference to the role of women in business over the past 12 months. They should have their headquarters or principal trading office based in the Thames Valley or South Coast regions. Entrants can self-nominate or be nominated by work colleagues, customers, suppliers or other associates. Enlightened Employer Award (£5 million – £25m turnover) In addition to the general criteria, judges are seeking nominations from or on behalf of companies with a turnover between £5m and £25m, that have shown exceptional commitment to gender equality in the workplace. They will be able to demonstrate a forward-thinking, proactive and creative approach to enabling women to realise their full potential. This could include taking action in areas such as recruitment, employee recognition and development, flexible working, or any other ways of creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture which enables women to excel. The essence of these Awards is to discover and reward exceptional women who – through leadership, entrepreneurialism, mentoring skills and/or ideas – stand out from their colleagues. We also recognise the men who have helped them to realise their success.

Notes on your submission:

1. Awards are open to all based in the South Coast or Thames Valley areas. Please contact [email protected] if you would like a map showing the geographic boundaries emailed to you.

2. Judging will take place during August. 3. Completed nomination forms and any supporting material should be emailed to [email protected]

or posted to: Events Department, Elcot Publications, Howarth Lodge, 7 Reading Road, Pangbourne, Berkshire, RG8 7LR.

4. Please clearly state where information is confidential. Any confidential information will be available to judges but not announced at the awards event or distributed to media.
