NOTICE
Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 20-005GRANT ADMINISTRATION AND/OR PLANNING SERVICES
The City of Brenham plans to apply for Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding from the Texas General Land Office (GLO) and is soliciting proposals to provide administration and/or planning services for CDBG-MIT contract(s), if awarded.
A copy of RFP No. 20-005 may be obtained, in person, at the City of Brenham City Hall, 200 W. Vulcan St., Suite 203, Brenham, Texas or by calling (979) 337-7567. The RFP will also be available on the City of Brenham’s website at www.cityofbrenham.org/purchasing.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Brenham until 2:00 P.M. (CST), on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the Office of the City Secretary, City of Brenham, 200 W. Vulcan St., Suite 203, Brenham, Texas 77833. Mailed proposals must be addressed to the Office of the City Secretary, City of Brenham, P.O. Box 1059, Brenham, Texas 77834-1059. All proposals must be labeled “RFP No. 20-005 DO NOT OPEN”. All proposals will be opened and read aloud at the City of Brenham City Hall, 1st Floor Conference Room (1A), 200 W. Vulcan Street, Brenham, Texas 77833 at 2:00 P.M. (CST), on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
Upon consideration of the proposals, the City of Brenham reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities and technicalities, to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the proposer’s ability to provide the services as covered by the specifications, and to accept what, in their judgement, is the most advantageous proposal.
The City also reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals and may award one or more contract to one or more service provider(s). Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
