Notable Cases Planned Parenthood Case South Dakota required a
suicide advisory to be given by physicians to patients getting
abortions. By forcing doctors to inform women that abortion
subjects them to a risk which the record medical evidence refutes,
the suicide advisory places an undue burden on a pregnant woman's
due process rights and violates a doctor's First Amendment right
against compelled speech. The district court's order enjoining the
suicide advisory should therefore be affirmed. Descion reversed by

Cases NFL Lockout Case In March 2011, members of the National
Football League commenced a lockout of players after bargaining to
an impasse with the National Football League Players Association.
Brady Suit The settlement as reflected in the new CBA included some
