How do I get a base plan?:
•See if you have a survey plan with the documentation that came with the purchase of your property.
•Make your own with help from
•local government website
•Google Earth
•Measure it up yourself
•Surveyor

What do I record on a base plan?:
•All boundaries and buildings
•All windows and doors/views out/access
•Driveways/paving to remain
•All fences to remain
•All plants and trees to remain
Remember to make a copy of your base plan so you always have a blank copy.

•All boundaries and buildings
•All windows and doors/views out/access
•Driveways/paving/fencing/infrastructure to remain /to remove(don’t forget access to water-taps)
•All vegetation to remain/to remove
