FAMILY MATTERS….Steve Bagge// As part of our mission to proclaim Christ to the lost, our Walnut Street family has had the opportunity to work with summer ministry interns over the last several years. Our shepherds believe that internships are a good way to train future ministers and encourage our church family. This summer we are blessed to work with two young men who are students at Freed-Hardeman University. Shane Schoenberger is a Preaching Ministry Intern, and Daniel Guthrie is a Youth Ministry Intern. Please be sure to introduce yourselves to them, and maybe invite them to share a meal. Also, we are sll in need of housing for Daniel during the month of July. If you can help for the month or part of the month, please let me know. My name is Daniel Guthrie. I am from Knoxville, TN. I attend Freed-Hardeman University and will be a junior in the Fall. I am a Biology major with minors in Psychology and Missions. I am looking forward to working with the church here at Walnut Street and growing in my faith. I enjoy hiking, soccer, and anything outdoors.
