DO TERO FEES INCREASE COST OF PROJECTS?

No. While any cost to a project will increase project cost, competitive bid process will reduce cost. Note that line item for fee will not be allowed. Fee will have to be factored into bids.** Tribes may have ways to help contractors avoid state taxes.

reservations just as they in mainstream.

• Impose a civil fine ranging from $500- $5000. per violation;
