• Three-strand methodology: Automatic scanning of hot topics and change over time in selected

sectors

Review secondary sources e.g. studies/surveys at national level in selected countries, studies by other DGs, OECD, etc.

Establishing panel of stakeholders at selected national and regional levels to follow over time and assess impact of the uptake of AI from multiple perspectives.

• Tracking of AI conversations on Twitterindicates that Health and FintecInsurance have very prominent clusters.

AI uptake and impacts

Opportunities for collaboration

Setting up Collaboration Agreement with Regione Lombardia to study together the uptake and the social end economic impact of AI in the region.

Plan to set up panels of companies and institutional stakeholders in different priority sectors to follow over time.

Benefit for companies is greater visibility and opportunity o interact directly with us highlighting important issues affecting their development.

Benefits for JRC is to be in closer contact with reality in different regions and sub-regions.
