Exciting changes... Beginning this past spring, The Hannah Center now opens its doors to ALL women in crisis, not just those who are pregnant. This is an exciting change for us! In continuing the vision of The Hannah Center’s original founders, we are enlarging our vision so we will be able to help many more in need of a loving home. Also, all of our publicity literature has recently been redesigned. We now have a new logo and business cards making it easier to get our name out there! These resources are proving to be very useful as Jennifer and our Board have been traveling and building a strong base of relationships and contacts. Jennifer has visited two other women’s homes and met with MANY people we are able to use resources to help the women that stay with us. We are also VERY excited to be starting an EMAIL MAILING LIST. This will not only allow us to send you our news-letters at almost no cost, but also allow them to be full color with virtually no restrictions of size or information. By providing us with your email address it will allow us to keep you updated more regularly of the wonderful changes that are occurring, as well as keep you aware of our ever-changing needs. If you would like to receive our newslet-ters and updates via email, please indicate so on the enclosed return envelope. We hope you’ll join us in support of our efforts to save time and money. Please take a few moments to visit our NEWLY REMODELED WEBSITE! We’ve given The Hannah Center website a bit of a face lift by adding a TON of new information and a splash of color. TAKE A PEEK! In addition to our website, we’ll also be regularly updating our Facebook page. This is another great way to find out what’s been going on at The Hannah Center and get information on our upcoming events and needs. Log on and “Like” us! Coming very soon, we will be introducing a BRAND NEW WAY TO DONATE to The Hannah Center. In the near fu-ture, you will have the ability to donate to us via PayPal. We will place a link directly on our website, (www.hannahcenter.com) that will take you step by step through this quick, easy and secure way to support us. No stamps, no envelopes, no checks, just click and give!

New Staff at The Hannah Center!

In April of this year, we welcomed our new Program Coordinator, Jennifer Hoes. Jennifer has several years of ex-perience working in Human Services. She loves to work with people and is excited to explore ways to help The Han-nah Center expand its program and help more individuals in the community. Jennifer and her husband Brady grew up in the area and have recently relocated to Colby from the Milwaukee area where they lived for the past six years. Jennifer is happy to be home where she can help the communities she has known. Bonnie Denecke, our Office Assistant, joined us in January. Bonnie has several years of experience serving as an Administrative Assistant and Project Manager. She has loved bringing her administrative abilities to The Hannah Center and has enjoyed finding new ways to facilitate growth and help women in need. She and her husband Kevin, relocated to Marshfield in 2010 from their home in New York. They have two children, Ronin (5) and Mercedes (4). Please stop in to meet our new staff and take a tour of our home. We would love to show you all we can offer and get to know you. We hope you will stop in to see us very soon!

A BIT OF A FACE LIFT

This spring we were blessed to be able to paint and redecorate the lower level of The Hannah Center. It has just been the cherry on top to all of this wonderful change. It is important to us to make this a

warm, inviting place for all who enter our doors, especially the women coming to us needing a safe place to stay.

Please stop by and take a tour of our home!

Festival Food Receipts

If you ever shop at Festival Foods, please consider saving your receipts. You may bring them to The Hannah Center or

drop them in the mail. Helping in this way makes a big

difference!

Diapers We are ALWAYS in need of DIAPERS!

We DAILY give away diapers (and wipes) to families in need and we never seem to have enough!

If you can help, please drop off your gift of diapers and wipes at The Hannah Center.

CORE VALUES

We support human life in all its forms.

We offer a home environment that is welcoming and non-judgmental to all who enter.

We commit to assisting women in positive life changes.

We embrace holistic care of a woman, taking into consideration her physical, emotional, social, familial and spiritual needs.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of The Hannah Center is to assist women in life crisis through compassion and guidance

in a nurturing environment.

Keeping in mind all of the “exciting changes” you just read about, please read our newly updated Core Values & Mission Statement!

The Healing Place has been sheltered in Marshfield’s City Cemetery for more than 10 year, offering a quiet place, a place of remembrance, a tangible space where a child is not forgotten. The decorative stone placed at The Healing Place features an angel and the inscription, “He will heal the broken-hearted.” These inspiring words are found as an ongoing theme throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. As part of our ongoing plans for this place, we now offer, to anyone, the option of remembering a beloved child in this space. A heart shaped stainless steel plate engraved with the child’s name and a date may be requested from The Hannah Center and will be placed at The Healing Place. From our very beginnings, The Hannah Center has held great compassion for all men and women, mothers and fathers, who suffer this great loss. Please feel free to contact The Hannah Center for more information. Donations appreciated but not required.
