The origin of the ISIS

• This group along with other terror groups originate from a cult called;

•The Salafis, also known as Wahabbis

Page 8: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Their History• Salafists or Wahabbis today consider Muhammad ibn Abd al-

Wahhab as their founder and guide.• Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab born in 1703, in Najd –

Modern day Saudi Arabia.• Initially studied under Sunni Scholars.• Sunni scholar, Ibn Humaydi, perceived Abd al-Wahhab to be a

poor student, and arrogant and defiant with his teachers. • Abd al_Wahhab breaks off and declared war on the Sunni

islam ideology. • Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab was eventually drove out of

‘Iraq by the local scholars due to his violent way of thinking

The Evil spreads• Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab commenced to

spread his evil teachings to anyone who would listen.

• Abdul Wahhab began to gain support of highway robbers and other criminals from around Najd( Present day Eastern Saudi Arabia).

• Forming an army of six hundred men, Abdul Wahhab’s rise to power spelt death and destruction, with his so called religious justifications.

• Returned back home, they looted and and plundered neighbouring territories, and his hometown ‘Uyainah, indiscriminately killing Muslim men women and children if they refused to accept his call.

The nurturing of an evil ideology

• He permitted the shedding of blood of people who say the Kalimah,(shia) thus making it permissible to take their property and place their wives and children in captivity.

• He stated this in his book - Kashf ash-Shubbahaat:• “The people that ask for intercession through the

Prophets and Angels, calling upon them and making supplication through their intercession, in attempt to draw nearer to Allah are committing the greatest of sins. Thus it is permitted to kill them and take their property”

The birth of the Saud DynastyImpressed with the religious doctrine and actions Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab, the ruler of Darriyah, Muhammad Ibn Sa’ud knew that he could use Abdul Wahhab and his doctrine to his own advantage, giving him the religious justification he so much needed to eventually take over the Hijaaz (modern day Saudi Arabia) and seat himself as the king of ‘Arabia. This was the birth of The Saudi Dynasty

Page 13: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

The spread of evilAbdul Wahhab, now together with the Saudi reinforcements and a much larger army raided Muslim territories and began forcibly converting all men, women and children to his evil ideology under the threat of death

Executed for sending blessings to the Prophet(saw)

• Abdul Wahhab even had a blind man executed for simply sending peace and blessings on Prophet Muhammad (saww) after he had made the call of prayer (Azaan).

• He did this under the pretext that he needed to preserve the purity of Oneness of GOD.

• Many of the historical manuscripts of the scholarly works were destroyed by the Wahhabi cult, as libraries were burnt to the ground, and even Quranic texts were even scattered around on the streets and trampled on without a care.

Disowned by his own father

• Abdul Wahaab’s father died while disowning his son and never again having spoken to his son, although before his death he would repeatedly tell the people• “You will see much evil from my son

Muhammad”!

Prophet Muhammad’s prediction• Ibn 'Umar reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (saw) as saying (in a state)

that he had turned his face towards the east: Behold, turmoil would appear from this side, from where the horns of Satan would appear.(Sahih Muslim Book #041, Hadith #6938)

• Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar saying “ I saw the Messenger of Allah (saw)pointing at the east (Najd) and saying, ‘The cause of dissension is here. The cause of dissension is here, from where the helpers of shaytan arise.’ ”(Mutawwa Book #54, Hadith #54.11.29)

• Abdul Wahhab’s own brother, Sulaymaan Ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab, said to him point blank;

• The horn of Shaytaan that the Prophet (saw) referred to, is you”

• Najd is the central eastern part of Arabia, lying exactly to the east of Hijaz, presently called Riyadh, the capital of the Wahhabi Kingdom of Saud.

Their Ideology: degrading women

But the Quran treats all as equals

• "I shall not lose sight of the labor of any of you who labors in My way, be it man or woman; each of you is equal to the other (Quran3:195)“

• “O people, we created you from the same male and female, and rendered you distinct peoples and tribes, that you may recognize one another. The best among you in the sight of GOD is the most righteous. GOD is Omniscient, Cognizant.

• (Quran49:13)“

The Salafis, Wahabbis , takfiris and Talibans consider women as third rate citizens. They are not allowed to work, drive or go out of their homes

Page 21: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Hatred for the Prophet’s family

• The Salafists have shown a distinct hatred for the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his family

• But the Quran has an entirely different view:• "(O Prophet) tell (people) I don’t ask you any wage

(in return for my prophethood) except to love my near family. And if anyone earns any good We shall give Him an increase of good (in return for it)”(Qur’an 42:23).

Their ideology: Kill anyone who does not follow their way

• These Monsters kill, maim and loot anyone who is different than them-be it Shia, Sunni , Christian or Jew.

• They have spread their evil everywhere, from Afghanistan to Somalia from Pakistan to Iraq, from Syria to Bahrain

Page 23: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Does the Quran support their ideology?• No! Here are verses that completely contradict The

Wahabbi doctrine of forced conversion• “There is no compulsion in religion — the right way is

indeed clearly distinct from error.”—Quran 2:256

• “If they accept Islam, then indeed they follow the right way; and if they turn back, your duty (O Prophet) is only to deliver the message.” —Quran 3:20

• “And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away, the duty of Our Messenger is only to deliver the message clearly.” —Quran 64:12;

Page 24: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Their Hatred for the Shia• “These differences (with the Shia) go back a long way. We will settle our differences NOT in Samarra or Baghdad but in Kerbala, the filth-ridden city, and in Najaf, the city of polytheist”• Part of statement by ISIS official spokesman, Abu Muhammad al-Adnani.

•Why Karbala?

•Why Najaf?

Page 25: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Karbala is where Hussein Ibn Ali (as) the Grandson of the holy Prophet Muhammad(saw) is buried. Brutally murdered by the

Forefathers of these Salafists/wahabbis

Page 26: THE IRAQ CRISIS. WHO IS THIS GROUP CALLING THEMSELVES ISIS?

Najaf is where Ali(as) the cousin and successor of the Holy prophet is buried, Slain in the Mosque by an ancestor of

these present day monsters

Conclusion• All Muslims believe that Allah (GOD) is the Creator and the

Owner of all life. He starts human life from conception and only He will end it through natural death.

• "....take not life which Allah has made sacred" (Chapter 6, verse 151)

• "...and (Allah) is the one who gave you life, then shall He ordain you to die, then shall He give you your life again, truly mankind is ungrateful" (Chapter 22, verse 66)

• The Salafists on the other hand deem themselves as judge, jury and executioners. No one has given them the right to kill, maim and murder

• Salafists thus cannot be called Muslims, rather They are most definitely agents of Satan
