WHY ORAN?
Welcome to Oran, a city that is strategically placed between the Mountain of Lions and the Santa Cruz fort, with variety of options for dinning and sightseeing, offering visitors a breath taking view of the Mediterranean sea and the mountains of Murdjajo.
Opened in 2010, The Convention Center of Oran “Mohamed Benahmed” is the largest Exhibition centre in Africa.With a high-level infrastructures and logistics, the center was accomplished by the National Oil Company, Sonatrach.The center, with a modern touch and luxurious facilities, is located next to Le Méridien Hotel Oran. A major asset for a presence on site and a high level of quality service.
Oran became the new energy business hub for Algeria, given the infrastructures it contains, along with its proximity to Arzew, one of the prominent energy cities in North Africa as it host a major downstream projects and LNG export facilities.
Today Arzew has become an impressive loading port and an important industrial crossroad where more than two thirds of the gas liquification capacity of national company sonatrach is concentrated.
The CCO is also perfectly located, just minutes away from the city center, closed to Colonel Lotfi boulevard and its various shops and restaurants. The Center is only 15 minutes drives from the International Airpo-rt of Oran. It is also just 30 minutes from Arzew Refineries and 10 minutes from Sona-trach's downstream head office.
