“TEAMWORK” and “CONSENSUS”

Issues to be aware of…………

• Scope Creep

• “the perfectionist”

• Marginal Vendors

• Loss of Institutional Knowledge

• Long-term Funding Stream

Issues to dream about…………

• I desperately want to “Google” all of my databases and sprinkle my desk with tidbits of information that may be useful in my investigation.

• I desperately want the system to automatically send me information, when it happens, about people or events I need to know about

Kansas Criminal Justice Integrated System (KCJIS)

• It’s a ONE STOP SHOP

• It’s SECURE

• It’s INTEGRATED

• It’s TEAM-BUILT

• It WORKS!

…..and we’ve just begun………

Thank you!

I welcome your questions!
