Over half a million people visited Bauma this year, held from 15 to 21 April. Consi- dered as one of the best Construction fairs in the world, it was attended by 530,000 people from over 200 countries, exce- eding the figures from previous years. The president of the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE), Johann Sailer, commented that “this is very good for our industry in these turbulent times and it will certainly give it a boost” . Among the 3,420 exhibitors was HI- MOINSA, a power generation company and manufacturer of generators and ligh- ting towers. Francisco Inglés, Sales Re- gional Manager at HIMOINSA, considers that Bauma has been very important for the multinational in two fields. “On the one hand, the sales department has made contacts with new companies which opens us up to the prospect of immediate business with them. On the other hand, links have been established with new suppliers, which were able to talk to our engineering experts at the fair” . Mássimo Brotto, New Business Deve- lopment Manager at HIMOINSA, sees the presence of the multinational at Bauma as the best way of reinforcing the brand in Germany and the rest of Europe. “It is an event that cannot be missed where you find visitors not just from the construction sector but from other sectors who work indirectly for it” . Brotto considers that so- me business fields in which HIMOINSA operates, such as Power Plants and other special projects such as Mining and Ports, have been given a boost during the Bauma fair, where significant commercial founda- tions have been laid with clients, suppliers and partners. Over the last few days HIMOINSA’s stand received hundreds of visits mainly from Europe and the Middle East. Australian, American and African clients chose this stage to consolidate their relationship with the multinational which operates in over one hundred countries spanning five continents. 24 April 2013 The presence of HIMOINSA at Bauma opens doors to new business opportunities

Over half a million people visited Bauma

this year, held from 15 to 21 April. Consi-

dered as one of the best Construction fairs

in the world, it was attended by 530,000

people from over 200 countries, exce-

eding the figures from previous years. The

president of the Committee for European

Construction Equipment (CECE), Johann

Sailer, commented that “this is very good

for our industry in these turbulent times

and it will certainly give it a boost”.

Among the 3,420 exhibitors was HI-

MOINSA, a power generation company

and manufacturer of generators and ligh-

ting towers. Francisco Inglés, Sales Re-

gional Manager at HIMOINSA, considers

that Bauma has been very important for

the multinational in two fields. “On the

one hand, the sales department has made

contacts with new companies which

opens us up to the prospect of immediate

business with them. On the other hand,

links have been established with new

suppliers, which were able to talk to our

engineering experts at the fair”.

Mássimo Brotto, New Business Deve-

lopment Manager at HIMOINSA, sees the

presence of the multinational at Bauma as

the best way of reinforcing the brand in

Germany and the rest of Europe. “It is an

event that cannot be missed where you

find visitors not just from the construction

sector but from other sectors who work

indirectly for it”. Brotto considers that so-

me business fields in which HIMOINSA

operates, such as Power Plants and other

special projects such as Mining and Ports,

have been given a boost during the Bauma

fair, where significant commercial founda-

tions have been laid with clients, suppliers

and partners.

Over the last few days HIMOINSA’s stand received hundreds of visits mainly from Europe and the Middle East. Australian, American and African clients chose this stage to consolidate their relationship with the multinational which operates in over one hundred countries spanning five continents.

This fair is important due to the pro-

fessional profile of the public, who

were impressed with the great va-

riety of generators and lighting

towers that HIMOINSA displayed in

its different stands. “The reactions

have been very positive. The design

of our inside stand caught people’s

eyes”, added Francisco Inglés, who

considers that HIMOINSA’s

strength at the fair was to offer a

great variety, both in terms of size

and configurations, of generators,

manufactured with high quality ma-

terials.

Oleksandr Tsarkov, Sales Area Ma-

nager at HIMOINSA, who focuses

mainly on the Eastern European

market, regards Bauma as a “great

opportunity to offer products to

new growth markets”. Emerging

areas such as Russia and Ka-

zakhstan, with a rich oil and mining

industry, have become important

markets for HIMOINSA.

The presence at Bauma of a large

number of sales directors that HI-

MOINSA employs in five continents

has, without a doubt, enabled a true

analysis to be made regarding the

situation of each of the markets in

which the multinational works on a

daily basis.

Francisco Gracia, Executive Director

at HIMOINSA, together with Ma-

nuel Sánchez Bada, Engineering

Area Manager, and Guillermo Elum,

Sales & Marketing Director, spent a

few days at the fair and witnessed

how the multinational has positio-

ned itself as an international player.
