VitrA:Unique in the world ofbathroom architecture.A subsidiary of the Eczacıbaşı Group, VitrA’s quest to perfect the bathing

experience began more than 60 years ago in İstanbul.

VitrA does not view the bathroom as a secondary space. Rather, it sees it

as a place where cleansing can become a refreshing, uplifting exercise in

the care and comfort of one’s body.

To accomplish its vision, VitrA has invested in every facet of bathroom

manufacturing, making it unique in the world of bathroom architecture.

Widely acknowledged as one of the most interesting and innovative

designers of the 21st century, Ross Lovegrove was an inspired partner.

His mission to create a complete bathroom experience began with an

exploration of İstanbul, VitrA’s physical and spiritual headquarters.

Ross Lovegrove drew inspiration from the unique diversity in culture

and architecture of İstanbul, immersing himself in its ceramic arts

and its calligraphy with its graphic yet liquid, sensuous and organic

properties.

VitrA and Lovegrove collaboration has produced 3 fascinating designs;

İstanbul, MOD and Freedom.

The İstanbul Collection was the result of Ross Lovegrove’s reflection

upon water: Its flow, its ability to envelope the human form, and its

inherent beauty.

The MOD Collection, a brand new sense of style by using up

less material and designed to consume less water; but definitely

remunerating that “less is more”.

The Freedom Collection defies convention to create uninterrupted

forms that flow like sculpture, yet more animate in the most

sophisticated way.

The ultimate bathroom experiences that have risen from VitrA and

Ross Lovegrove collaboration.

Limescale is persistent in most bathrooms. VitrAclean technology is a special double-glazing process that makes washbasins, WC pans, urinals and bidets water repellent. No harsh chemical cleaning agents are needed to keep them beautifully stain-free for years.

NO BACTERIA

In moist environments, an extra degree of protection is needed to deter bacteria. VitrAhygiene is a unique glazing process available on all ceramic sanitaryware (washbasins, WC pans, bidets and urinals). By adding silver ions to the raw glaze it offers almost 100% protection against the spread of bacteria. Extremely hard-wearing, VitrAhygiene glaze will last the lifetime of any product it’s been applied to.

WATER SAVING

Fresh water, one of the earth’s most valuable resources, is fast running out – as much due to an irresponsible attitude towards water usage as to environmental reasons. The new 2.5/4 lt Water Conserving WCs by VitrA provide efficient flushing with less water, helping you cut down excess water usage in the bathroom. Developed by VitrA with special cistern structures and highly efficient low-flow internal mechanisms, the new WCs are certified for lowest water consumption by EU standards. An upper limit can be set on water flow by adjusting VitrA faucet’s special cartridge, While ordinary cartridges supply 20 L/min. flow under 3 bar pressure, the special cartridge with flow limiter limits the flow to 2 L/min allowing upto %90 water conservation.

ENERGY SAVING

The temperature adjustable cartridge of VitrA faucets are designed to save heating energy. Specially developed, the hi-tech cartridge allows you to set a maximum temperature to avoid waste of power.
