What was Stalin’s Five Year Plan?

• Set Russia’s economic goals for 5 years

• Focus on industrializing heavy industry and increasing agricultural output– Heavy Industry = steel

production, large-scale manufacturing

– Few consumer goods produced

– Agriculture = collectivized farms
