TheodoricTheodoric, meaning ‘Leader of the People’, is a stunning 57’ traditional stern narrowboat.The hull is a Tim Tyler. She was originally fitted out by William Piper Narrowboats and commissioned in 2011. She has recently been refitted by Jim Birch of Oakcraft Narrowboats, and his work is first class. She is solid oak virtually throughout and the paint on ceiling & cabin sides is Farrow & Ball. You will wait a while to see another boat with such character and charm as this.Much of the boat is new. The stern cabin was recently refitted in beautiful reclaimed elm. The engine, with only 770 hours on the clock, is under the floor. There is useful storage in here, and the inverter (3kw) in the cupboard was new in August 2017.The bedroom follows, and has a two poster double bed with an oak wardrobe / chest of drawers at the foot. Two side hatches with inner glazed doors. There is a wall mounted TV in here as well as a traditional column radiator under an oak shelf.The bathroom is only 2 years old.
