Whilst dog registrations are not due until the end of August, theresults YTD are approximately 40% less than 2015-2016 YTD, which may be attributableto when the registration notices were posted. The trend normally is for people to leavepaying until the end of the month.

However, development application fees are calculated on the cost of thedevelopment which can result in variances during the year based on the timing and type ofapplication Council receives.Council staff & Department Managers recognise that Council is only one month into thefinancial year and both of these charges will be appropriately managed in 2016/2017.
