To remove the spare tire cover,* open the backdoor. Unhook the latch on the bottom of thecover. After closing the back door, remove thecover.

Move the lever to LOCK, allowing the door to beopened only from the outside.
Doors-Child safety locks
If belt is fully extended, then retracted evenslightly, it cannot be re-extended beyond that point,unless fully retracted again. This feature is used tohelp hold child restraint systems securely.
