The Training and Placement Cell facilitates the process of placement of students graduating from the institute besides collaborating with leading organisations in setting up internship programmes for the students. The Cell provides the infrastructural facilities to conduct pre-placement talks, online and written aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews besides catering to the hospitality of industry officials while on campus.

The ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Condition Engineers) members of final year Mechanical Engineering attended a job fair organized by ISHRAE in Mumbai. Mr. Eldon Noronha and Mr. Vishal Chand, B.E. Mechanical were given job offers.

thHFCL, Mumbai conducted an online test for final year ETC students on 26 November 2016.OS3 conducted a campus drive in December 2016 and shortlisted 23 final year Computer students for further training.

rdIBM conducted a campus drive on 3 February 2017 and 16 students were offered jobs.

ndPersistent Systems conducted an online test on 2 February 2017 and six students were

thshortlisted for further rounds of interviews on 14 February 2017. Ms Mubina Shaikh, B.E. Computer received the final offer.

thAmazon, Pune conducted a campus drive on 20 February 2017 for students of final year engineering and 30 students were given job offers.VDart Software Services, Trichy conducted a campus drive for final year ETC and Computer engineering students. 19 students were shortlisted for final round of interviews.

Citrix Systems, Bangalore conducted a placement drive at PCCE, Verna on 12 April 2017 which was attended by 87 students from our college. 9 students from Don Bosco College of Engineering were given provisional offers to attend the prestigious Citrix training to be held in June 2017.

thDoggears Print Media, Margao Goa visited campus and conducted interviews on 19 April 2017 for the Computer Engineering students. Four students were given job offers as Software

thEngineer. They revisited the campus on 11 May 2017 for the post of Graphics Designer and hired Ms. Linet Sebastian, B.E. Computer.

thSankalp Semiconductors, Hubbali visited campus on 29 April 2017 and conducted aptitude test followed by interviews. Two B.E. ETC students Ms. Valerie Vaz and Mr. Saiesh Sangaonkar were given job offers.

rdTech Force Composites conducted the interview process for B.E. Mechanical students on 3 May 2017 and selected 4 students.A shipping company Trade Ocean Cargo and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur conducted the

thMZOS, Pune conducted an aptitude test on 8 May 2017 for students of all engineering colleges at our campus and selected 16 students for further training and selection by their clients.

Mechanical students attended the interview process of Oriental Containers Ltd. and five students were selected.Our final year students attended the placement process of Open Destinations and Genora Infotech at PCCE, Verna for which results are awaited till the time of final printing.

Don Bosco College of Engineering launched an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell for the th

students on 28 January 2017. The innovation and entrepreneurship council is a forum for promoting new and creative ideas among the students, and assisting the students to bring their ideas to commercialization. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Jose Noronha, Chairman, Goa State Public Service Commission.
