Guidelines for Usage

• Galaxy Tab™ is a trademark of Samsung Telecommunications America, Inc. • The name of the device is: Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7 (with the ™ symbol) • Use of the ™ symbol applies to Galaxy Tab™, in the graphic treatment and when the

word is written in text. When in text, the superscripted ™ symbol needs to be used on first reference only. All subsequent references do not need the ™ symbol.

• Use of Graphic Treatment: –   The device must be referenced as “Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7” in first usage.

–   Subsequently, it can be “Galaxy Tab™ 7.7” on the same page, without reference to either brand – as long as we have clearly shown it as the Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7, elsewhere in the same ad, and that it has been shown in context of the Samsung Galaxy Tab logo.

• The name “Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7” replaces any model # references • The name “7.7” should be used in conjunction with the Galaxy Tab logo as

demonstrated in the following pages.

• The following legal language must be referenced in the legal lines: –   Samsung and Galaxy Tab are both trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

Examples of Incorrect Usage

• The following are incorrect ways the trademark can be referenced: –   “Galaxy Tab™ 7.7 by Samsung”

• The use of the Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7 graphic treatment within a sentence is not permitted. When referencing the product name within a sentence, the product name should appear in regular font as part of the copy.

–   Correct: The Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7 is a sleek and stylish device.

–   Incorrect: The is a sleek and stylish device.
