Tram/bus stop at the Slvaija square is in the Bulevara Oslobodjenja street (Google Maps). For visual referencing, the stop is in front of the Swiss embassy. Across the

street you will see BioMedica Lab, Raiffeiesen Bank and a tram/bus stop for the opposite direction (when going from the Faculty to Slavija square). Some sidewalks

are still under construction (minor) around Slavija square, however, you should not have any problems to get to the stop (as of November 20). Slavija square is easy

to reach from the very city centre (the Republic square): ~ 20-minute walk down the Kralja Milana street (dash black line) or using trolleybuses 19, 21, 22 / bus 31.

The faculty building will be on your left (for visual referencing, there is a large construction site on the right) and you just need to cross the Vojvode Stepe street

(Google Maps). You will also see a stop for the other direction (towards Slavija square).

Tickets

You can buy tickets at almost any kiosk/store/news stand with this sticker:

There are three ticket options which you can use:

1 day – 250 RSD (plus 40RSD for the card, one-off payment),

3 days – 700 RSD (plus 40RSD for the card, one-off payment),

5 days – 1000 RSD (plus 40RSD for the card, one-off payment).

You can buy a paper card (receipt-like) for one ride inside a vehicle from driver for 150 RSD (prepare exact amount).

You can buy a plastic card, which costs 250RSD (one-off payment) and then top up (you start with 0 RSD credit) as needed (you can use the plastic card in the next

three years after first top up). One 90-minute ride costs 89 RSD (you can switch lines). This plastic card can be useful for group rides, since up to 5 people can travel

with it and you’ll be charged 5 single-rides (one is 89 RSD) at once. Remark: if you top up more than 900 RSD, you will get an extra 100RSD (e.g. if you top up 1000

RSD, your credit on the card will be 1100 RSD).

1 EUR ≈ 120 RSD (‘Dinar’ in Serbian)

Once onboard (you don’t have to enter at the front door, use any), you need to check your ticket at one of the validation machines. You should validate your ticket

and when switching lines, that is, every time you enter a new vehicle (you can switch within 90 minutes from the first validation, without being charged twice). Just

place your ticket on the machine and wait for a second or two until you hear the sound and see a notification in green. If you see a notification in red, you most

likely don’t have enough credit on your card so you either need to top up (kiosk) or buy a ticket in vehicle (driver).

For “NEW validation machine”, you can choose English language on the top of the screen (by pressing ENG).

Very few vehicles might still have the “OLD” version, without English language option.

If you buy a plastic ticket which you can top up (so, not a one-ride paper ticket or daily ticket), you can make a group ride (up to 5 people using one ticket). Enter the

front door and choose the option for a Group Ticket. After that, choose how many people are in your group, then choose ZONE 1 and place your ticket on the

validation machine.

1. Choose “Group Ticket” 2. No. of people in a group 3. Select ZONE 1 4. Validate your ticket

You can also check the list of bus/tram stops using ticket validation machines. Choose ENG and press the sign on the screen in red rectangle to see the list. Last

bus/tram stop will be in red and other stops in white. Use navigation buttons (green rectangle) to go back and forth to see more stops.

This example shows list of stops for tram 10 (from Trg Slavija, the same as trams 9 and 14). The first stop after Slavija square is in red and the Faculty stop is

underlined in yellow (10th stop).
