youcan provide a side dish or beverage to share.

Autumnfest is just around the corner! Plan to
join us Friday night, October 25th. We are collectingbags of

October 11 is the date set forour next team to leave for
Haiti.As the group prepares to leave,they would like to bring
supplies
in support of theMiriam Center.The Miriam Center is a
multi-faceted ministry encompassing five areas: anorphanage, a baby
orphanage, a community
outreach program, a special-needs learningprogram, and a school
for the deaf. It is the onlyCenter of its kind to minister to
special needs
children in the northern region of Haiti. They have asked us
ifwe could help them with the following items:
Adult Diapers (small and medium) Toothpaste (travel size) Peanut
Butter Baby Powder
Lotion Individual Packs of Pedialyte Baby Food (dry and
ready-to-eat in plastic containers) Concrete Screws (2 inches
long)
Also needed are a few pieces of luggage to help deliver
oursupplies. Supplies will be collected in a box in the
narthex,marked NWHCM. Contact Sara Perrine in the Church office
ifyou have a piece of luggage you would like to donate.
The men's breakfast is a time of fellowshipfor the men at
Chaparral. We'll enjoygourmet breakfasts and spend some time
inworship together. The dates for the fall areas follows: Oct. 19,
Nov. 2, and Dec. 7.
