The Dictionary is also usable by all other learners and stakeholders. Economics, as an integral part of Social Sciences, is a compulsory subject in classes VI to XII. The dictionary contains detailed meanings and references for around 750 terms (approx.) used in Economics textbooks of the NCERT, as well as certain other relevant and popularly used terms in Economics. Besides, the Dictionary contains diagrams, tables and mathematical expressions that provide for a better visual representation and understanding. The Dictionary is unique, as there is no such Dictionary for school students currently available, in which each term and its explanation has been given in all the three languages (English-Hindi-Urdu) together at one place. The book makes it possible for students to refer to any version of the Dictionary with which they feel comfortable and find the explanation of a word in the other language. The Trilingual Dictionary of Economics is available in Publication Department, NCERT.

Trilingual Dictionary of Economics for Schools (English-Hindi-Urdu)

The Department of Education in Social Sciences (DESS), NCERT, New Delhi, has developed a Trilingual Dictionary of Economics for Schools (English-Hindi-Urdu) for use of schoolchildren and teachers.
