The Job market
A good job marketAt the moment there is a competition for the best workforce.
Seven out of ten companies indicate that it has been difficult to find
employees with the right skills.
There is a demand for certain soft skills for example; the right attitude and
dedication, service skills, responsibility and ability to work independently.

The job market in Stockholm
The Stockholm economy continues stronger than normal.
New employment in Stockholm is increasing and the situation is now the
best in seven years. The labor shortage is record high. Companies in the
construction and data industry have difficulty finding available competence.
(Also applicable to the public sector for example within education and
healthcare)

The IT & Telecom sectorDeficit of 70,000 people with IT or digital skills until 2022.
The biggest obstacle to continued growth of the digital sector is the lack of excellence
in IT, telecom and other forms of digitization.
The need is primarily for programming with a focus on Back-end and system
architecture, but also a growing need for qualified data analysis and IT / information
security.
No specific programming language but programming skills is generally is requested.
It is clearly that social and soft skills are of great importance, such as creativity,
collaboration and problem solving.
