How to complete this application

Tier 4 Student Jun 2012

This application is made as a Tier 4 Student under Part 6A of the Immigration Rules or as a PBS Dependant underPart 8 of the Immigration Rules.

When considering this application we will decide only whether you qualify as a Tier 4 Student or as a PBSDependant, as appropriate. We will not consider whether you qualify for leave to remain for any other reason.

If you wish to be granted leave to remain for any other reason please return to the form finder and make theappropriate application.

Please read the help text and guidance that are available online to help you make this application.

You will need to complete the following steps to make your application:

Step 1 - Fill in your application online;

Step 2 - If a payment is required, pay it online;

Step 3 -Print out your official document when asked;

Step 4 -Provide your official document and any required supporting documents; and

Step 5 - Provide your biometric information, if required.

The date of your application will be the date you submit the official document to us, but you may need to completeadditional steps before your application is valid.

Standard service: If you choose the Standard service the date of your application will be the date you post theofficial document to us. You will be sent an invitation to provide your biometric information once we have receivedthe required supporting documents under Step 4. You must follow the instructions and timeframes in that letter. If youdo not complete all of the steps in time, we may reject your application as invalid.

Premium service: If you choose the Premium service, you will need to book an appointment at one of our publicenquiry offices. Steps 4 and 5 will normally take place at this appointment. The date of your application will be thedate that the public enquiry office accepts that application. If you do not complete all of the steps in time, we mayreject your application as invalid.
