DESCRIPTION
Urban Spaces work
Citation preview
Urban spaces I have visited Leaden hall Market, Guerin and Lloyds Building.
The most interesting subject to photograph was a business building with a lot of special
windows capturing reflections in them.
The weather was awful. Rain, clouds, and consequents of this was a white bleached sky. I considered angle, light, focus when I took the photographs. Also I tried to use different viewpoints and angles for photos but mainly shot from a low viewpoint.
I have enjoyed this trip because I took a lot of good photos and I used different techniques which is a good practice. The experience that I achieved is a great reward for me. The most successful photographs are “windows of modern business building” and their reflections, because I choose really good angle and viewpoint.
There were a lot of people so I have them on some of my photos and it made work a little bit harder. Also bad weather made my photos darker sometimes but that’s everything what was
wrong. I would go in a different day to make photos with sun reflection .

Evaluation of 1 most successful photographs
My intention when taking this photograph was to capture more windows. I was particularly inspired by the photograph “Sierra Towers” by the photographer Ted Vancleave because usually many buildings look the same and I wanted to photograph something special . The composition of photograph is balanced , weighted to left . If I were to reshoot my photograph I would photograh whole building with sky. I took my photograph from a low view point. The result of shooting the photograph from this angle is that building seems to be bigger. My photograph is sharply in focus. There are strong shapes within my photograph and if you look on this building it seems like those “additional widows” are protecting people inside from sun. I have edited my photo in colour. I choose to edit it this way because I didn’t want to loose dark blue tons. Therefore in conclusion I obtained the visual results I hoped for because I captured strong shapes that I wanted.
