Drawn to complex mul-systemic disease, she started her General Internal Medicine fellowship at UBC in 2015 and achieved FRCPC cerficaon in 2016. A passionate cyclist and travel-lover, Val enjoys seeing the world on pedal- power. When she isn’t cycling in remote areas, you can find her enjoying a cup of dark roast at the local coffee shop or running along the Sea Wall. Val is a passionate paent advocate who also enjoys volunteering in her spare me. After graduating McGill University Medical School in 2012, Dr. Stoynova started her internal medicine residency through the University of British Columbia. Drawn to complex multi-systemic disease, she started her General Internal Medicine fellowship at UBC in 2015 and achieved FRCPC certification in 2016.

A passionate cyclist and travel-lover, Val enjoys seeing the world on pedal-power.
