"“from our heart to yours..."
INDIA February 2018 I Vol. 19 I No. 2
I am proud to say that this is one of the founding principles on which Forever was built. For 40 years you have taken this idea and brought it to life by helping others around the world realize and live their dreams.
Our global events are also designed with this concept in mind. This is why we ask our GLT and leaders in our industry to share their trainings and philosophies with you. We bring you together to celebrate, learn and experience new adventures as a way of showing appreciation, to reward you for the hard work you do all year long and to continue developing your success.
Many of my best memories are of you receiving your Chairman’s Bonus checks, cheering each other on, speaking vibrantly about your business and ultimately, having fun together.
When I learned that some of you have been unable to attend our events in the past due to visa restrictions, I was incredibly disappointed.
I challenged the Executives at Forever to find a solution. I didn’t want to hear again that any of you would be losing out on an experience that you worked so hard to earn. We needed to find a way to help fix this and ensure that all of you who work toward these opportunities are rewarded with something special. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than qualifying for an exciting trip and hearing the news that you cannot attend due to circumstances that are out of your control.
Thus, the idea of a second Eagle Manager’s Retreat in Pattaya was born.
The passionate leaders and Executive team of Forever decided that we would add a third global event to our calendar this year, for all qualifiers of Global Rally 2018 in Dallas and Eagle Manager’s Retreat 2018 in Phoenix, who are unable to attend due to visa restrictions. As you can imagine, organizing and planning two global events for thousands of FBOs is already an ambitious undertaking. Despite the work, the investment and the quick planning that it will take, we are very passionate about doing what we can to give you the experience you deserve.
Thank you for all that you do and know that we appreciate you. I know this will make you all stronger FBOs and I know that your businesses will continue to flourish, allowing you to continue to help develop others. Continue working hard every day and we will continue to focus on ensuring your hard work is always rewarded.
Forever Yours,
Rex MaughanCEO, Forever Living Products

A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
2
There’s a story about a farmer and his two sons that I’ve been thinking about a great deal recently concerning innovation at Forever. As we embark on a new year, our 40th anniversary and many product and business evolutions, I’ve reflected on this story and how it can help Forever continue to progress over the next 40 years.
A farmer brought home a handful of seeds to his sons one day and asked them to very carefully choose one seed each. The first and eldest son chose a beautiful seed. It was perfectly shaped, dark and shiny. He knew quickly, by the reaction of his father, that he had chosen very well.
The second son inspected the seeds slowly, selected a rather average looking seed and looking to his father, displayed a look of pride. His seed may not have been as perfect as his brother’s, but it was a good seed and he was sure of it.
The two boys took their seeds and made plans for the season. The eldest son took his shiny, beautiful seed and showed it off all over town. People admired the seed from near and far, congratulating him for selecting one with such clear value. The youngest son took his seed and planted it in the ground. Each day, he watered and tended it.
At the end of the season, the farmer invited his two sons to join him at the market. The eldest put his seed in his pocket to see what it would be worth. The youngest son brought the large watermelon that he had grown and sold half of it for a nice profit. He cut up the other half to pluck out the seeds. He sold half of those seeds and took the other half back to his garden to plant more watermelons. His brother sold his seed for a penny.
The youngest son in this story has shared an interesting lesson. Every innovation begins as an idea or a seed. When we let it evolve, it can become incredibly valuable, leading to great progress and more great ideas, so on and so forth.
We recently announced new company policies concerning the Gem Bonus, Gem Eagle Managers and Manager move-ups that I believe are a great step for our future. These innovations didn’t happen overnight, and they took a lot of tending by our leaders to decide what would be best for the future of our FBOs.
Transforming an idea into something valuable isn’t a quick or simple process. It takes time, energy, care and support of others around you. It also can be intimidating, but it’s worth it. So, hold on tight and put your focus on progress. We are on the fast track toward an exciting future!
As we continue to embrace the spirit of innovation and announce new advancements for Forever, I encourage you to look at your business with this same spirit. You must also decide how you will treat the seeds of innovation. Will you let them evolve into something fruitful or will you rest on your laurels and come up short?
Keep Smiling,
Gregg Maughan
President, Forever Living Products
The power of an idea can be frightfully intimidating. Sometimes, even a great idea can feel larger than life and the repercussions of its success can be overwhelming. If I succeed, then what?

Meanwhile back at the ranch, or the farm in this case, the man who had bought his farm happened to be crossing the small stream on the property when suddenly there was a bright flash of blue and red light from the stream. He looked closer and picked up the stone, it was a good size stone, and admiring it later put it on his fireplace as an interesting object. Several weeks later one of his visiting friends picked up the stone, looked at it closely, held it in his hand and then suddenly fainted. After he came around he asked the farmer if he knew what he had found and the farmer said no. He thought it was a piece of crystal so the visitor corrected him and said that he was looking at one of the largest diamonds ever discovered!
This farmer had trouble believing his friend and told him that his creek was full of such stones, not as large perhaps but the creek bottom was full of these crystals. The first farmer had sold his farm so that he could search for a diamond mine, whilst he was actually already sitting on the most productive diamond mine on the entire African continent! He had owned Acres of Diamonds, but he had sold them for practically nothing in order to look for them elsewhere!
The moral is very clear, if the first farmer had only taken the time to study and prepare himself to learn what diamonds look like in their rough state and since he had already owned the piece of the African continent, to thoroughly explore the property he had before looking elsewhere, all of his wildest dreams would have come true and would not have drowned in the process.
This story profoundly affected Dr. Conwell and subsequently millions of others, perhaps each of us at this moment are standing in the middle of our own Acres of Diamonds. If we’d only have
Russell Herman Conwell was born in 1843 and he was to have profound effect on the lives of millions of people and still continues to do so today. He started off as a lawyer, then a newspaper editor and finally a clergyman. An incident which occurred during his church career was to change his life and the lives of millions of other people. One day a group of young people came to Dr. Conwell in his church and asked him if he would be willing to instruct them in college courses, they all wanted a college education but couldn’t afford to pay for it, Dr. Conwell asked them to give him a few days to think it over.
After they left he started wondering why there couldn’t be a college for poor and deserving young people. This thought virtually consumed him, for him it was a project worthy of 100% dedication and complete commitment. As a result he single handedly raised several million dollars with which he founded Temple University in Philadelphia which is still one of the country’s leading colleges.
It was interesting how he raised the money, it was by giving more than 6,000 lectures all over the country, in each lecture he would tell a true story called Acres of Diamonds which had affected him very deeply and it had the same effect on his audiences, the money he needed to build the college started pouring in.
This true story was about an African farmer who had heard about other farmers making millions discovering diamond mines. This got the farmer so excited that he also sold his farm and spent the rest of his life wondering the African continent searching unsuccessfully for these precious diamonds. Finally worn out tired and in a fit of despondency he threw himself into a river and drowned.
the wisdom and patience to encouragingly and effectively explore what we are involved with and explore ourselves, we will usually find the riches we seek, whether they be financial or otherwise.
Before thinking that the other man’s grass is always greener, understand that it is quite possible that it is getting better care than yours, besides while we are looking at other pastures, other people are looking at ours! Is it not a shame when you find people who waste their life running from one thing to another, forever looking for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and never staying with one thing long enough to find it?
Dr. Russell Conwell’s changed the lives of millions simply by telling the same story over 6,000 times. We may not have acres of diamonds, but we do have acres of Aloe and the story is very similar! Just by telling the same true story about the best Aloe in the world over and over again, you too can change the lives of millions! Every kind of endeavor has such opportunity lurking within it, the opportunities are there simply to be noticed. Our part of the bargain is to look at what we do, with new clean eyes!
Wishing you everything you are prepared to work for!

Forever Arctic Sea & Argi+ - From Our Heart to Yours.....with Love!!
Love is in the air...........
Here is wishing you a very 'Happy Valentine's Day'........
Matters of the heart are complex and we at FLP care for this tireless, spectacular organ that involuntarily beats over 2.5 billion times and pumps over 200 million litres of blood in a lifetime.
The Genetic Disadvantages of Being Indian:
Scientists studying the Indian propensity for cardiovascular disease have found causes at the cellular level - specifically in genes. Indians are also genetically predisposed to develop Metabolic Syndrome, or Syndrome X, a metabolic condition associated with doubling the risk for cardiovascular diseases. This is further compounded by modern way of existence like stress, fast food, sedentary living, smoking, alcoholism and a host of other pointers. However, the good news is that despite our disadvantageous position, lifestyle changes can prevent and help stave off damages to the heart or brain - no matter what genes you carry. Sustained effort pay handsome rewards.
This February we bring you a combination of two super foods that have the potential to boost your pumping station manifold. By taking care of this involuntary muscle, you relay the message "I care for you" loud and clear to all your loved ones!
Forever Arctic Sea - enriched with Omega 3 and Omega 9. There is really no debate.
An overabundance of scientific evidence supports the belief that omega-3 from fish oils may help in maintaining healthy arteries. Omega-3 fatty acids are a type of unsaturated fatty acid that may reduce inflammation throughout the body.
Another type of fatty acid, oleic acid, is an Omega-9 monounsaturated fat found mainly in olive oil, peanuts, and avocados. It is used by the body to fight inflammation and to help bolster the immune system. Superiorly manufactured and invariably derived from the purest regions of the Arctic Sea, Forever Arctic Sea Softgels ensure a balanced supplementation using both vegetable and pharmaceutical-grade fish oils to derive the benefit of each.
Argi+ : The benefits of Nitric Oxide also referred to as the "Miracle Molecule" by the medical fraternity, in helping blood vessels relax (vasodilation) is an established fact. The gas Nitric oxide is believed to play a wide variety of roles in biological organism. These include vascular muscle relaxation, that may help in increased blood flow and greater circulation. L-Arginine formula in our Argi+ is converted into nitric oxide in the body, to help support circulation. ARGI+ is now available with the enhanced formula in a convenient stickpack to make it easier to take your ARGI on the go. New Argi+ Enhanced Formula provides all the power of L-Arginine, plus Vitamin D, a full compliment of B Vitamins, antioxidant properties from Pomegranate and Grape skin, Red Grape and berry extracts for cardiovascular and immune system support.
Make this February a special Valentines month for you and your loved ones. Take advantage of this super combination and watch your heart grow merrier! Rush to our counters TODAY……….

Is there a scope to improve something that is already perfect? Well, at Forever we believe there is!
In our sustained pursuit to bring you the absolutely best and most superior products, our innovation and research team tirelessly involves in reinventing and redesigning the products so that we stay above our competitors, perpetually! In line with that goal, we are extremely proud to introduce our Aloe Hand Soap to the Indian market - previously sold as Aloe Hand & Face Soap.
So what's new, you will ask. For one, with changing times and dynamic market scenario, we are consciously moving away from 'one product, multiple uses' concept and are working with an approach of targeted benefit concept.
Considering the fact that on average, people wash their hands around 8 times a day, and the global hygiene council recommends even more, while that can be a key to keeping you healthy, it can also take a toll on your skin if your soap uses harsh surfactants and strips your hands of moisture. Thankfully, Forever Living has found a way to actually soften your hands while washing them. On close examination you will notice that while some ingredients have been done away with, a number of natural fruit extracts have been added for that additional moisture and hydration.
Our 100% Stabilized Aloe Vera Gel and glycerine make a natural, soft base onto which we added some new and exciting ingredients.
We’ve maintained your favourite pearlescent formula and then improved it further by adding Cucumber Fruit Extract, Lemon Peel Oil and Olive Oil to exponentially boost its moisturizing powers.
Cucumber helps soothe the skin - the saying 'cool as cucumber' is spot on! Cucumber is 96% water which means hydration, hydration and some more hydration! Its anti-inflammatory properties means that it is good for nasty skin break outs too.
Lemon is reputed as natural cleanser, we all know this. Remember visiting an Indian restaurant where you are always offered a lemon slice in warm water as a hand wash? So whether you are looking for squeaky clean

hands or a natural disinfectant, lemon oil is the secret! Lemon peel oil in our Aloe Hand Soap does a double duty acting as an astringent and skin conditioning agent.
Olive oil carries the 'soft as baby skin' sobriquet! It is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin and nails. It has long been heralded as an anti-oxidant, moisturizer and may assist in skin’s rejuvenation.
We recommend that you immediately get our amazing Aloe Hand Soap on your bathroom cabinet and kitchen sink! Everyone wants to grow in life but most of the times we don’t get the right opportunity. There are very few people who get a chance to change their lives but they don’t know how to use that opportunity. Forever Living Products (FLP) is the opportunity that can and has helped change lives Forever. What is required though is the right start? Let's look at it with an example, most of us drive cars and if you are a driver, you would always shift gears in sequence. We could never jump to the fifth gear after the first. Likewise, in FLP, we need to gear up sequentially to achieve success. Below are 6 such steps in sequence which can gear up your FLP business:
Step 1– To be successful in Forever, you DON’T need to sell the product (mind you, we are not 'salesmen'). What we do here is simply, use the product, experience it and then share them with our friends, family and people you come across. That's how you build a successful business! Experiencing the results of such marvelous products not just instills the belief on the products but also builds confidence for you to be able to talk about them.
Step 2 – Now, that you have used the products and achieved the results/experience you've desired, you are excited to talk to people about it. But hold on! NOT YET! Now it’s time to understand the "Why's and How's?" of these products which simply put means to attain knowledge about them. Attend trainings, read company literatures, talk to other FBOs who have used similar products and share your experience with them to get more knowledge. This will help you understand the power and potential of Forever's remarkable products. This in turn, will increase your chances of Success!
Step 3 – So now, you've used the products and shared your experience and knowledge about them. There's no doubt in your mind that Forever's products are the best in the world, but there's also a wonderful opportunity attached to them which makes us look at the business aspect. We now need to understand how Forever helps people just like you and me achieve their dreams, if only you seize the opportunity. If you want to grow and fulfill your dreams in Forever, we need to attend trainings to help us understand the full potential of Forever. Sit with your "ACTIVE" upline and understand what it takes to be "ACTIVE" so that you can ACTIVELY achieve everything in Forever. The Marketing Plan is simple, understand it so that you can progress further!
Step 4 – You are now geared up with the knowledge of the products and business, but there are two more steps before you finally take-off. In this step, we talk about learning to conduct your own presentations and demonstrations. You need to observe and learn this from your ACTIVE upline. It doesn't matter how old or young your upline is, what counts is the experience. For you to be able to handle any objections or rejections, you must submit yourself to your upline. Your upline will be able to shorten your time and effort in the business by sharing his experience so that you can learn and not commit the same mistakes he/she did. Submission in FLP is very much important.
Step 5 – After completing all the activities from Step 1 to 4, we are now ready to talk to people. Do keep in mind that Forever's products are the best and the Marketing Plan is incomparable to any other. Don't be surprised when you find out that not many understand the power of FLP. Initially we need to practice with our guests or prospects, some will be interested in Forever and some won't. Don't be afraid of rejection, this only means that you are beginning to become stronger in our business. Gradually, we will understand what people need be it the business or the products. I personally recommend reading a book called "Questions are the Answers" by Allan Pease at this point. Make a habit of showing at least one business plan and one product demo a day. By doing this people will join you as a consumer of the products or as a business partner.
Step 6 – The last and final step can help us grow in Forever as long as we want long term success. We need to teach/duplicate the same system to our teams so our business can grow to unlimited depths. The Forever Business is not based on recruitment in your team, but is based on the purchases made by your team members and their team members/consumers so on and so forth which solely means that the system needs to be duplicated in our teams. We have to inspire our team to lead, by becoming a role model for them.
With all that being said, there are no shortcuts to Success. We have to follow the system and teach our teams to do the same. Learn Yourself and Teach others to do Forever the right way. I hope and pray to God that he may full all your dreams with Forever!
FOREVER THE RIGHT WAY!
