Had difficulty with relationships Suffered from epilepsy, manic depression, mental illness, and delusions Cut off part of his own ear and spent time in a mental hospital In 1890, after producing 900 paintings, Van Gogh shot himself and died two days later.

  • How does the silkscreen process work? 1.Take a photograph. 2.Tightly crop the photo. 3.Transfer it onto acetate (clear plastic film). 1.Expose the image. 2.Underpaint the canvas with bright paint. 3.Create the final print by applying silk screen and black ink. 4.Make multiples with different colors.
