Board Passes Resolution for Building Contract At the Tuesday, February 24 board meeting, a motion was made to approve the BECK Contract as presented at the January board meeting. The motion carried. The contract is ready for approval as presented at the last meeting! The new timeline will be a maximum of 18 months from the time it is approved by the Board. We are excited and thankful for our administrators and teachers who have helped us achieve this great success, and look forward to what is in store for Compass Academy!

Benchmark Scores…Through the Roof !
Mrs. Stewart presented the latest benchmark data at the February board meeting, which showed significant improvements in all subjects over December 2014. The entire board was completely blown away by the hard work of the Compass staff, parents and more importantly, STUDENTS to achieve this! Great job to all!
STAAR Wars!
The board is excited about what Mrs. Stewart and the staff have planned for the STAAR prep days happening soon! A round of applause for them being proactive in moving Compass forward!

CrossRoads Deacon Board Approves Transfer of Land to Compass Academy A letter signed by Lead Pastor Griffin Jones on February 26 affirmed the donation o f l a n d b y C r o s s R o a d s Fellowship Church to Compass Academy: “On behalf of the Board of CrossRoads Fellowship Church, I am writing to affirm the letter of intent regarding the donation of 15+/- acres of land north of the current CrossRoads Fellowship Global Campus. As conveyed in the “letter of intent for donation of land” dated November 4, 2013, ‘the only restriction on the donation is that if Compass Academy Charter School no longer operates on the land, that it revert to church ownership.”
Spring Bash, Here We Come! Kala Hardy, Business Manager for Compass reported at the last board meeting, that we are still needing some assistance to raise funds to make this event a success!
