keeping pace with new technologies to create competent

professionals.

M1: To develop professionals with analytical and technical

competency for productive career in industry, academia and as

entrepreneurs.

M2: To build theoretical and applied skills of faculty and

student in computer science and engineering through need based

training, research and development on industrially and socially

relevant issues.

M3: Continuously improve and provide state-of-the-art

laboratories to keep up with the new developments in the area of

computer science and engineering.

M4: Create nurturing environment through competitive events,

industry interactions, global collaborations and creating

concern for lifelong learning.

Engineer’s Day Celebration

On this occasion, Department of Computer Science &

Engineering organized a event to celebrate the Engineers

Day. Dr. Shakti (Director,PIET), address the students about

the greatness of Sir.M. Vishveshwariah who is Father of

Engineering. He advised the students to strive hard to

achieve their goal. He stressed the importance of hard work,

sincerity and dedication to succeed in life. He motivated the

students to utilize these kinds of Association activities

which will be useful to their Academic career.

Engineers operate at the

interface between science and

society. To identify the great

works done by our hard

working engineers each year

15th September is celebrated

as Engineers' Day.

MEGASTROKE

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology organizes

an annual sumptuous fresher’s welcome party ‘

Carbuncle’ i.e. ‘The Fresher’s Fest’ a platform for

exhibiting the latent talent of the new aspirants as a part of

their personality development. The purpose of this event is

to welcome and make every fresher feel an integral part of

PIET family and gear up for the challenges ahead.

Jovial smiles and beaming faces marked the ’Carbuncle+

2K18’ organized in the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium

and the amphitheater on 28th & 29th -September, 2018,

a two-day event, which manifested unusual overwhelming

enthusiasm among the students. The star attraction and talk

of the town was the star night and on this occasion the

famous Punjabi singer, Milind Gaba rocked the stage

with his foot tapping performance. Parminder Singh, the

comedian was another star attraction who made every one

laugh and infused a spirit of hilarious wave in the party.

Teachers Day Celebration

On 5th September, birthday of Dr.Sarvapalli

Radhakrishnan, was celebrated in Computer Science &

Engineering department at seminar hall. His footsteps, the

teachers follow, are being proved on Teacher’s Day.

Teachers play a major role in making their students

responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings.

It is impossible to imagine our lives without teachers. They

are the cornerstone of our future. The performance of

students on stage exclusively for teachers was a memorable

one. Students from CSE department were present and

exhibited their talents as a treat to the teachers. The

students from B.Tech expressed their thankfulness to see

their teachers and were full of beans.

MEGASTROKE

I would always be grateful to PIET for giving me multi

dimensional learning by providing the apt mix of

academics, industry exposure, attitude and leadership. I

would also like to thank to the professors for getting me

the first campus placement at Wipro as it's always special

for a student getting placed for the first time. The Faculty’s

are all dedicated experts and helpful in their respective

subjects. I will always cherish the feeling of studying at an

institute which focused on career enhancements along with

overall skill development.

MEGASTROKE

My experience in PIET has been both educational and fun.

I have met and made so many new friends. This college

lives up to everything it offers. Two of the most important

things I can honestly say that, students grasp through the

engineering are a head start on college goals and a more

concrete idea of careers of the future. The journey of the

engineering program has truly been exhilarating and

wonderful. I will without a doubt recommend this college

to generations to come so that students around Delhi-NCR

may share in on the experience of such a college. Thanks

to the many services provided by this college. I am the

person, I am today.
