Flashes of Hope began partnering with

Camp Can Do in 2008 and quickly

became an important tradition in our

program. Campers enjoy the photo

shoot process, camp staff appreciates

the care and excellence with which

the photographers do their job, and

parents love receiving professional

portrait packages (completely free of

charge) of their kids. Camp Can Do is

honored to

have Flashes

of Hope as

part of its

family.

On behalf of the children and families

of Camp Can Do, we wish to express

our sincere and continued gratitude

to Chapter Director, Jeannie Kruiden-

ier, and her entire team for providing

this outstanding service.

organization, please visit

cused on children's cancer. With

chapters in 55 cities, they photograph

more than 50% of the children annu-

ally diagnosed in the United States.

Since its founding in 2001, they have

photographed 43,830 children at hos-

pitals and camps across the United

States!

Upcoming Events

On December 6, 2014, the

Anthony J. Rinaldi, Jr. Foun-

dation held their fourth

annual Christmas Classic at

the Scranton Cultural Cen-

ter. This black tie event

drew a full house of atten-

dees including Eric Trump,

who's family donated gener-

ously to the silent and live

auctions. Guests were

treated to numerous per-

formances, beginning with a

beautiful children’s choir

and culminating with a num-

ber by the cast of the Broad-

way show "Avenue

Q". Week 1 Assistant Direc-

tor Matt White and Week 2

Director Stephanie Cole had

the privilege of speaking

about their experiences at

Camp Can Do and helped

inspire a night of giving that

will help fund camp well into

the future.

The Anthony J. Rinaldi, Jr.

Foundation is a non-profit

organization that raises funds

to support programs for

children with cancer, and

has been a committed sup-

porter of Camp Can Do

and its mission. Don Rinaldi

and his brothers run the

foundation in honor of their

brother Anthony, who died

of renal cancer in 2002. His

wish was to help children

who have been diagnosed

with cancer.
