ONLINE PLEDGE Did you know that you can pay your pledge and/or set up regular gifts on line. With our new online Vanco system you can also register your children for Vacation Bible School and even reserve your space for the Summer Craft Fair.
WORSHIP NOTES Summer Outdoor Worship will begin July 1 and our last outdoor worship will be September 2. Pastor Heather will be out of the office 6/17-6/30. The Reverend Dr. Ed Deyton will be preaching 6/17 and 6/24.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
OCTOBER 2nd - 11th - 2018 SPONSOR A CHILD TEAM OPPORTUNITY Applications are now being accepted for a Helping Children Worldwide Sponsor trip to the Child Rescue Centre (CRC) in Bo, Sierra Leone. Current sponsors visit the CRC, meet the students they sponsor, and participate in Sponsor A Child activities. An interest meeting will be held on June 2 at 10 am by teleconference. If you currently sponsor a student at the CRC and would like teleconference instructions, contact the Missions Program Manager [email protected].
JUNE FOOD MINISTRY FOCUS Individual Servings Thank you for the donations in May! Ideas: small boxes of raisins, and other dried fruit, granola bars, small packets of nuts, small boxes of cereal or cereal bars, applesauce, or small cans of fruit, non-refrigerated pudding, Skinny Pop popcorn and trail mix.
SUMMER COFFEE HOUR Volunteers needed to provide very simple summer coffee. Lemonade, cookies and coffee are all we need. Sign up on the bulletin board or contact Diane Hembree [email protected].
MIRACLE KITCHEN is in need of 2 volunteers to make sandwiches and 3 volunteers to make desserts for July 3rd.

An easy way to clean green is to turn the dial on your washing machine to cold. Most loads don't need hot water, and 90% of the energy used by washing machines goes into heating. The higherthe water temperature, the higher the cost to you and the planet. Remember to use the blue recycle cans in the Solarium, the kitchen and the office.

RESPONSE is the official magazine for United Methodist Women. Its goals are to educate for mission, to interpret the Purpose of United Methodist Women and to strengthen the organization. Previous issues of response may be found in the Conference Room for you to borrow. The May issue's cover shows Bertha Koweluk, an Inupiaq Native Alaskan. She is a lay minister in the Community UMC in Nome, Alaska, and works with a program called Blessing for Ashes. It helps Alaskans better understand and respond to the historic trauma that originates with the coming of missionaries and other white outsiders.
EXPERIENCE HALL is where you could see the exhibits of our 150 years of history and service at the 2018 UMW Assembly last May. You might have met some of our foremothers, like Martha Drummer, Mary Scranton and Kathryn Maurer; see UMW mission work with justice, maternal and child health, economic inequality and the criminalization of communities of color; and see faith, hope and love in action from the past to the present. Our UMW unit in Osterville invites all women to UMW gatherings.
