MORNING Quantum Global

Good Morning & Welcome to Monday's trading action at Dalal

Street, dated 27th May 2019.

Outlook for Monday: BAJAJ HOLDINGS Looks

Attractive!

All-time-highs are right around the corner.

Well, keeping optimism alive and uptrend intact at Dalal Street are the latest

press release which states that Mr. Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime

Minister for the second time — this Thursday, May 30th. Also, his council of

ministers will also take oath for their respective offices on the same date.

The street will be keen to know on who will be the next Finance Minister! The

name of Piyush Goyal, who briefly served as Finance Minister last year when

Arun Jaitley was indisposed, is being circulated as the next full-time Finance

Minister.

Well, whoever takes the job needs to give a boost to the economy without

hiking debt.

Digging deeper, growth has slipped to a five-quarter low of 6.6% at the end

of 2018 and the street suspects that growth may worsen due to falling rural

consumption demand which are clearly visible in automobile, FMCG and

aviation. And then, there are other issues like unemployment, liquidity crisis

and fiscal position.

So, the first 100-days of government action will be closely watched. The

street will purely look forward to infrastructure spending. The blueprint of

pushing difficult and big-ticket reforms will be keenly watched. The other key

catalysts would be:

1.Progress of Monsoon.

2.Government's foreign policies.

3.Fed Outlook.

4.RBI Outlook.

5.U.S-China trade tensions.

6.Trend of oil prices.

The famous Conga-line of rising markets are in play this Monday morning on

backdrop of positive finish at Wall Street in Friday's trade. Amidst this

backdrop, Nifty's must watch hurdles are seen at 11921 mark and then at

12041 mark.

That brings us to our call of the day which suggests Dalal Street will

continue its run of strong gains. Establishing long positions on any corrective

declines should be the preferred strategy.

MORNING Quantum Global

Technical StrategyNow let's check other themes into detail that will command attention in

today's trade:

1.Diageo Wins $135 Million Claim Against Vijay Mallya in UK

Court. On this reports, expect MCDowell & UBL to enjoy strong

session in today's trade.

Meanwhile, Mr Vijaya Mallaya awaits his July 2 hearing before UK High

Court judge for his appeal against his extradition ordered by UK home

secretary Sajid Javid in February.

2.Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth net Rs

2,026.33 crore in Friday's trade.

3.In latest Q4, BEML reported profits which was up 3.5% at Rs 229.7 crore

versus Rs 222 crore; revenue up 9.3% at Rs 1,368.5 crore versus Rs

1,252.6 crore (YoY). Buying on dips should be the preferred strategy.

4.Divis Lab reported Q4 Profit which was up 10.6% at Rs 289.3 crore

versus Rs 261.6 crore; revenue up 15.5% at Rs 1,256.4 crore versus Rs

1,087.9 crore (YoY). Buying on dips should be the preferred strategy.

5.India Cements too reported profit up 24.4% at Rs 43.8 crore versus Rs

35.2 crore; revenue up 11.9% at Rs 1,564 crore versus Rs 1,397.8 crore

(YoY). The stock should enjoy strong session in today's trade.

6.The big investors camp are still seen worried as no new U.S-China trade

talks have been scheduled in near term.

7. Based on the minutes from a latest policy meeting, Federal Reserve is

not likely to cut interest rates soon.

8.The price of crude oil fell to $59 per barrel.

Q4 earnings to trickle in this week:

Monday: BHEL, MOTHERSON SUMI, COLPAL, ZEEL, GAIL, KSCL.

Tuesday: NAUKRI, AUROPHARMA, MFSL, NMDC, SUN PHARMA, PNB.

Wednesday: BEL, PFC, M&M, IDFC, VGUARD, CADILA, ADANI ENT,

RPOWER, POWERGRID, GLENMARK, NBCC, MCDOWELL,

Thursday: APOLLOHOSP, SAIL, SUZLON, IDBI, UJJIVAN, NALCO.

STOCKS TO WATCH:

• Our chart of the day suggests establishing short positions in stocks

like UBL, MCDOWELL and BAJAJ HOLDINGS with inter-month

perspective.

J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited, promoted by Mr.

Jagdishkumar M. Gupta was incorporated in the year

1999 with an object to carry on the business as a

builders, contractor or sub contractor. The

company's core competence and expertise is in the

field of Transportation Engineering, Civil

Construction, infrastructure development and Piling.

The firm went public in the year 2008 and stocks are

listed at BSE and NSE. In last 18 years the Company

has positioned as a guiding star for delivering

complex Infraprojects with a proven track record of

timely completion.

The firm has a track record of efficaciously

completing 81+ projects, and are focusing on

resources in completing of ongoing projects under

execution comprising of Rs. 92,768 Mn as on 30th

September, 2018 in order book.

We suspect, the biggest positive trigger for J. Kumar

Infraprojects would be any resolution of legacy

issues as the firm has faced multiple headwinds with

news flows around ED/IT raids and trading ban

imposed by SEBI on charges of economic offence

pertaining to a contract. Well, a clean chit will bring

bulls' back on probable backdrop of sharp re-rating.

Technical Outlook: A probable rebound being

witnessed on weekly & monthly time frame! The

stock is rebounding after making a double bottom

pattern on the daily charts, and is fast approaching

its psychological resistance area at 200. We are sure,

the scrilla bulls will dominate price action!!!

Stochastic is currently on the bulls' side. Simply buy

at CMP, and on any corrective declines to 125-130

zone, as the stock is likely to aim psychological 200

mark and then logical targets at 250-261 zone.

Holding Period: 3 Months. Stops below 111.
