It’s surprisingly easy to do and worth the effort. In class we will make a zippered pouch about 4.5” x 8.5” to learn the technique. The fabric is created by weaving 1” strips of raw edge fabric cut from fat quarters or full width fabric. The new piece of fabric is further embellished with heavy 12 wt Aurifil thread.
