ACT ProgramO Purpose: create a proactive culture amongst our

students to strive for excellence both academically and artistically.

O Each grading period, student’s grades, attendance and citizenship are monitored to determine both at-risk and probation

O At-risk vs. Probation O At-risk means you are “at-risk” of being on probation at

the semesterO There are no consequences when notified; it is a warning

that you need to improveO Probation means you will have to appeal to participate

in every activity on campus that you wish to participate in that is not required by a class (i.e. field trips, pullouts, dances)O Appeals will be held after every six-week grading periodO If on probation, it is for the entire semester and you will have

to appeal for both six-week grading periods of that semester
