Welcome to Eagle Christian Church

We are glad you have joined us today to worship. We want you to know that we have prayerfully planned this time together and that we do “church” on purpose.

Our mission is to reach people with the gospel message of Jesus Christ, teach people to become devoted disciples of His, equip people for acts of service, and send them into ministry.

About Eagle Christian Church

We are one church in three locations: Central Valley, Surprise Valley, and West Valley.As a Christian church we do not claim to be the only Christians, or the only church, but we seek simply to be known as Christians without a denominational label. We do not see ourselves as better than anyone else, but as a group of Christian people dedicated to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek the unity of all people on the basis of confession and commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord. Vacation Bible School Schedule Update!This year’s VBS has changed from a 5-day event to a 3-day event. VBS schedule will be as follows:

• Sunday, August 9 at 6:30 pm: Family Experience Picnic

• Monday and Tuesday (Aug. 10 and 11), 9 am–noon: Groups A and B

• Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 12 and 13) 9 am–noon: Groups C and D

An email with your child’s group assignment will be sent in the next few days.

New Sunday ClassDr. Charles Crane is teaching Major Bible Doctrines Sundays at 9 am in the Fireside Room. This will be similar to a Bible college class without exams. All are welcome!

New to ECC? Starting Point will give you a sneak peek into the basic beliefs and practices of ECC, equip you with the essentials of the Christian faith, and show you opportunities where you can get involved. This is your first step in getting connected with ECC. Childcare is available for attending parents. The next Starting Point class is August 1 at 4:30 pm or August 2 at 10:30 am in Admin Hall in the office building. Classes can also be viewed on the church website.

Baptism—Your New StartInterested in or have questions about baptism? This one-hour session answers the most frequently asked questions regarding baptism. The next class is August 1 at 6 pm or August 2 at 9 am in Admin Hall in the office building.

Stephen MinistryYou can be part of a ministry that provides care and support when people need it most. You can become a Stephen Minister. ECC Prayer MinistryDo you want to make a difference in a person’s life? Do you want to see answered prayer in the Lord healing someone? Do you want to see people saved? And see answered prayer? Then we have an opportunity for you to be used in a unique and special way through prayer. For one hour a week, we will be using Zoom to pray together for those in the church, needs in the church, for each other, our community and our nation.

We will meet on Tuesdays from 9:30–10:30 am, beginning August 18. For those who can’t meet for an hour, come as long as you can. And for those who aren’t comfortable praying out loud but want to pray along, we encourage you to join us also.
