The St Peter’s Parish Choir is looking for
new singers for the 2019—2020 choir year.
The choir meets weekly on Wednesday night
7pm—9pm and sings for the 10am Mass on
Sunday as well as for Christmas Eve and the
Easter Tridum. If you feel called to serve our
Lord through music in this way, please contact

At 2:00pm on Sunday, Sept 22, Father Vincent
Huber will celebrate a High Mass in the
Extraordinary Form in Christ the King Chapel
at Franciscan University. The Schola Cantorum
will sing for the Mass. All are invited
to participate in this special Mass.

Catholic Schools?
Our school year is off to a beautiful start!
Fall sports, weekly Masses and so much
more have all successfully begun at our
schools. This past week Mrs. Danaher
received a letter in the mail from the state
of Ohio. Bishop John King Mussio Jr. High
is now an 11 time consecutive winner of the
Governor’s Thomas Edison Award for
Excellence in STEM Education and
Student Research.

Elementary Intervention Specialist
Bishop Mussio Elementary School is looking for an ODE
licensed Intervention Specialist with current BCI/FBI
clearances. The candidate should have experience
working with students with a wide range of special
needs, experience writing and implementing IEPs and
interpreting ETRs. Must work well in team
environment. Preference for individuals with Orton-

INFANT OF PRAGUE NOVENA
Monday, Sept 23rd thru Nov 18th
The Cathedral of St Joseph in Wheeling, WV, will cel-
ebrate the annual Novena to the Infant Jesus of
Prague beginning this year on Monday, Sept 23 at
7:00pm. The Novena will be prayed on 9 consecutive
Monday evenings, concluding on Nov 18.
Each week consists of Exposition and Benediction of
the Blessed Sacrament, a homily given by a guest
priest, music and prayers to the Infant Jesus of
Prague. The theme for this year will be
“The Church on the Path of Unity”.
Please remember the sick and homebound of our parish
in your prayers, that they may be healed, strengthened,

July 16th you have pledged $29,479.58. (57% of our
goal), leaving a balance of $22,286.58.

and we need this rebate money to help with
our regular expenses.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE: Pittsburgh’s 19th 40 Days
for Life campaign will begin on September 25th
and go through November 3rd.
Since 2010, Pittsburgh has taken part in every fall
and spring 40 Days for Life and we have kept our
40 day prayer vigil going un-broken in front of
Planned Parenthood in Pittsburgh. Hundreds of
churches have helped us to maintain this prayer
vigil by adopting time slots on the sidewalk.
May Your priests be happy, may they be
esteemed a thousand times, privileged to drink
of the Fountain of the Savior each day!
