Hi all! The season has started and its off to a flyer, two rounds into the sea-son and everyone is loving rugby again. In my first season as the Junior Dele-gate for Waitemata I am receiving amazing support from all of our coaches and managers as we worked through team selections and training's. Without our coaches and managers we wouldn't have the ability to play rugby on the Saturday, so make sure to thank them at every opportunity.
Our senior sides are in full swing with Round 5 coming up this Saturday at home versus Eden. Try and come down and support them. Also this Satur-day we have members of the Club Woman's team (which I coach) that are going to be joining teams to run the water and be supporting superstars for our young players, Lets hope the rain holds off again so we can enjoy the sun.
Remember, our coaches are all volunteers, from Under 6 right up to Premier level, so show them the positive support that they deserve. Your kids see these people as their heroes and role models. Keep enjoying rugby and don’t be shy to come up and say hi around the club. Happy Rugby Season.

WILLIE AIAVAO
WAITEMATA SHARKS U10-U60 KGS WHY DO YOU COACH: This is my first season as head coach.
I've been assistant coach over the last 10 years for teams in-
volving my 3 sons, who have all played for Waitemata. I do it
because it gets me involved and it's my way of showing my
sons that I'm taking an interest in their sport.
FAVOURITE ALL BLACK: Doug Howlett
BEST RUGBY MOMENT: When my youngest son played his very first game of ripper rugby for Waitemata. He was only 4 at the time. He never got his hands on the ball and he didn't do much running around the field either, but the fact that he was wear-ing the same rugby jersey as his 2 older brothers gave him a huge buzz. He's been playing rugby ever since. HOW MANY WEETBIX CAN YOU EAT: I've done 14 weetbix in two sittings. I don't have a breakfast bowl big enough to do it all at once and it's not a good look to use a punch bowl! BEST RUGBY TIP: Show your lighter side from time to time. It does wonders to the boys' morale when the coach can have a laugh with his team, even if its at your own expense.
SEVA NABORISI
WAITEMATA BLACK U13 RESTRICTED WHY DO YOU COACH: Too see the development.
FAVOURITE ALL BLACK: Christian Cullen
BEST RUGBY MOMENT: Fiji winning Gold in the Olympics HOW MANY WEETBIX CAN YOU EAT: 10 BEST RUGBY TIP: Don’t rely on talent alone, train hard as well.
RICHARD INGLIS
WAITEMATA BLACK U13 RESTRICTED WHY DO YOU COACH: I enjoy seeing the progression
of the players over the season.
FAVOURITE ALL BLACK: Carlos Spencer
BEST RUGBY MOMENT: When I was the coach, our team went to the Punjabi Youth Games in Pakistan and we won! HOW MANY WEETBIX CAN YOU EAT: 6 BEST RUGBY TIP: Work Hard, Train Hard, Play Hard.
