God continues to pour out his blessings on this trip! As of this writing, we have collected a total of $4,075.00! Can you say “PRAISE THE LORD”! PLUS the toys, teen gifts and gifts for parents that you brought in. Of this money, $2,097.05 has been spent on toys, teens and a few parent gifts. $1,305.23 has been spent on food, hygiene products and cleaning products. We have $672.72 to take with us to purchase needed items when we get there AND…the money continues to come in!
I can’t thank you enough for your generosity!! Miss Pat
The annual UBC Christmas Post Office will be up and running Nov. 30th
through Dec. 21st. This is a great way to pass along holiday greetings to your church family. Please remember when addressing your cards, if the receiver is not presently attending UBC, the cards will not be forwarded to them. This year, the post office will be run by the UBC children and parents. All proceeds will help fund those going to camp in 2015. The cost will be $.25 per card again this year. Please place your card in the “TO BE SORTED” box and we’ll take care of the rest! *Parents: If your child will be going to camp, please see me to get on the rotation to help with the Post Office!!
Parents, Do you need to do some Christmas shopping? Maybe you just need a date night. Drop your children off at UBC from 6pm until
9pm on Friday, Dec. 5th
, and let our wonderful youth care for them while you spend some quality time together! PLEASE sign-up on the bulletin
board in the narthex, and indicate which pizza they would like to eat from the choices given. Then send them in their pajamas along with their sleeping bag and pillow for an evening of games and movies in the sanctuary! Next, either when you drop them off or when you pick them up, come with some money as a donation to the youth to help cover camp expenses! Youth, you need to see Allen to sign-up to help!! The deadline to sign up is November 30
th.
The Giving Tree. All of our tags have been taken! For those who have tags; Please make toys your first priority and then buy clothing, and extras if you wish to do so. Tie all wrapped presents together or put in a large bag with the tag you took from the tree ATTACHED!!! The Headstart director
has asked (if willing) for you to include receipts for gifts you buy. It helps with state funding for the following year. Put receipts in large envelope at the sign up table. Return deadline is Sunday, Dec. 7. Thank you so much for helping these children! HOH Team
The Couples’ Christmas Dinner is Sat., Dec. 6th, 6pm, in UBC’s Legacy
Center. We will provide beverages & dinnerware, but we eat what you bring! Please think about bringing a couple dishes to share. Also bring one gag gift per couple for our annual gag gift exchange. So come and spread come Christmas cheer by singing loudly for all to hear!!!
If you are a first time guest, please, stop by the Welcome Center to receive a Thank You gift for visiting with us today.

Parents: After service, you will need to pick up your children from the Heartland upstairs. God’s Plan for Your Life Are you certain you have eternal life and will go to Heaven when you die? What would you say if you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into My Heaven?” God’s Purpose: God loves us and has a purpose for our lives. The Bible says it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16) Our Need: As we search for meaning in life, we discover that our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God purpose for our lives. We are all sinners by nature and by choice. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) God’s Provision: God is holy and just and must punish sin. Yet He loves us and provides forgiveness for our sin. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6) Our Response: The only way Jesus can affect our lives is for us to receive Him. We must surrender to Jesus as Lord. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10) My Commitment: “Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and died to forgive me of my sins. I know I have sinned. I ask You to forgive me. I turn from my sins, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. I want to live for You the rest of my life. Amen.”
