Life University’s Fall session will kick off September 8th with 4 adult classes to choose from plus kids classes! TODAY is final day to

register for the class of your choice. Classes meet

Sunday evenings from 6pm-7pm (unless noted), and we are adding children’s classes this year! Classes will run 10 weeks Sept 8-Nov 17. TODAY is last day for registration, book orders and payment. Book orders will be placed tomorrow. Stop by the table in

the narthex to register your family! We ask for payment of book(s) at time of registration.

►►BASICS of SIGN LANGUAGE…..we had a great response for sign up and

the class was FILLED last Sunday!! Praise the Lord! We hope to offer another class around January. FOR the YOUTH….a class will be held on Wednesdays at 6pm, (just prior to Youth “Open House”) taught by Cyndi Spence. The start date is SEPT 4

Plymouth Road Runner and a 1958 Porsche Speedster. U don’t need to stay the whole event. But we would like

U to be a part of this exciting outreach that we call the UBCruisin’. There are many ways to participate in this

ministry before, during, and after the event, so don’t hesitate to talk with someone at the sign up table outside the sanctuary to find ways you can join in. Some volunteer needs only require a short time commitment, while others are for a longer time period. ANY amount of time U can give will be greatly appreciated! Please check out the signup sheets outside the sanctuary to see where U fit into the UBCruisin’

The Women’s Ministry is collecting Diapers for CareNet. They will begin collecting

September 8th and continue to the end of October. CareNet says the greatest need is for sizes 1 & 2 but will accept any and all sizes. Please place all diapers under the coat rack in the narthex. All diapers will be delivered the first week in November.

11AM ONLY: Children Ages 4 – Grade 2 are dismissed for Children’s Church. Please, have them come to the front to be escorted to their class. Parents: After service, you will need to pick up children from the Heartland upstairs. They will NOT be dismissed without you.

We will have a tour of classrooms as well as games, crafts & a snack. This is open to all preschool age children. Please sign-up on the bulletin board, so we can plan accordingly.

God’s Plan for Your Life Are you certain you have eternal life and will go to Heaven when you die? What would you say if you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into My Heaven?” God’s Purpose: God loves us and has a purpose for our lives. The Bible says it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16) Our Need: As we search for meaning in life, we discover that our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God purpose for our lives. We are all sinners by nature and by choice. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) God’s Provision: God is holy and just and must punish sin. Yet He loves us and provides forgiveness for our sin. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6) Our Response: The only way Jesus can affect our lives is for us to receive Him. We must surrender to Jesus as Lord. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10) My Commitment: “Dear Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and died to forgive me of my sins. I know I have sinned. I ask You to forgive me. I turn from my sins, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. I want to live for You the rest of my life. Amen.”
