This is the second ebook in the series “Free”, out of any series, and is dedicated, as the last one, to WePhoto Admins. This new book is dedicated to Admins, old and new, who helped us to get here, becoming a group growing by numbers of members and by quality, with many friends and great photographers in all over the world. These wonderful people made WePhoto as WePhoto is today and probably what WePhoto become.
This book is a tribute to Them, and also a tribute to all of you who follow us with our same passion.Thank you and enjoy

Penso che sia impossibile dare una definizione. Si potrebbe dire che non è altro che un flusso di fotoni, la cui energia sollecita un
sensore o i grani di bromuro d’argento della pellicola, ed in questo modo danno origine ad un immagine latente che viene poi elaborata,
elettronicamente o chimicamente...ma la fotografia è qualcosa di più! la fotografia ferma il tempo e lo spazio, lo coagula in un unico
attimo, e quell’attimo è un immagine! è solo un richiamo della realtà, un momento unico, mai visto se non in quella foto! La Fotografia
è un EMOZIONE, un emozione che viene interpretata da chi la guarda. In questo modo lo Scatto, fatto dall’Autore, si completa in chi lo
guarda, e per ognuno è un emozione diversa.

La passione per la fotografia inizia all’età di 15 anni, con la
Finetta di mio Padre; esplode verso i 18 all’acquisto di una
Nikon F2 Photomic usata. Durante gli studi di Psicologia,
inizio con un socio l’attività professionale acquistando un
Banco Ottico (Sinar P) per fotografia tipo “Still Life” in studio.
La chiamata al servizio militare (ai tempi obbligatorio)
interrompe quell’inizio di carriera e i miei studi universitari.
La Passione, dopo mille avventure, prosegue tuttora, con una
Canon Eos 550D.

E’ banale, trito e ritrito, ma il concetto di fotografia per me è raccontare con le immagini, colpire il cuore senza passare dal cervello,
qualcuno lo ha detto prima e sicuramente meglio di me, ma ho fatto mio il concetto e quando guardo nel mirino prima di scattare penso a
questo, oltre a “ho tolto il tappo dall’obiettivo?”. A me in particolare la fotografia è servita ad allargare gli orizzonti (qualche volta mi sono
usciti storti per la verità), entrare in contatto con un modo di persone che condividono la mia passione e trasmetterla anche alla mia figlie.

52 anni, Taxi driver nelle notti milanesi. Runner con qualche
maratona all’attivo. Appassionato di fotografia da sempre,
ma fino al 2009 solo contemplativo, nel senso che ammiravo
foto fatte da altri e mi intrigava la capacità di raccontare
storie solo con il potere delle immagini. Grazie a un amico ho
cominciato a imbracciare macchine fotografiche serie (D70,
D90 e ultima una D300) e da allora non perdo occasione per
scattare, sia di giorno che di notte. Mi piace sperimentare
svariate tecniche e giocare con la luce artificiale, da poco
appassionato di fotografia “minimal”, giro la città con il naso
all’insù alla ricerca di linee rette e curve da catturare. Non
disdegno foto paesaggistiche e di architettura in genere, in
poche parole... Io amo fotografare.

M come Milano. Mi piace fotografare la mia città, soprattutto quando gli altri dormono, nelle strade deserte si capisce la vera essenza di questa città, caotica, menefreghista,arrogante a volte, ma che sa stupirti ancora, dopo una vita passata tra i suoi confini. Foto 1 e 2

S come sperimentare. Amo sperimentare varie tecniche, come si dice, impara l’arte…ecc ecc. Il Lightpainting è quella che mi ha dato più soddisfazioni per ora, ma non finisco di fare esperimenti, benché alcuni disastrosi la voglia rimane.

Hi, everyone!!! My real name is Maydoll Morales but everyone calls me Mia, so I use Mia. M as artistic name . I was born in Cuban in Havana city, but I am living in U.S. I studied Communication at Havana University and now I work as a writer and photographer for a magazine of art called Azahar. My passion for the arts is something that born with me. Since 1995 I began to publish my stories, poems and articles on different magazines around the world. But on 2000 grew in my the love for photography, thank to my mother, and I started to participate on art expositions and other visual arts projects; since them I’ve had good results with my photography work. Now I can’t live without art my dear friends because being an artist is not just a job for me, it is not a competition or a passing fancy. I think that being an artist is a more than just a job or profession, is a philosophy of life, which we cannot let go, because it is within our souls. Therefore we must be united, support us each other and fill the existence with fantasies and hopes. The world needs more art and less wars, more imagination and less oppressive, more humanity ...Only art can change the world and only united artists can create a way of love.

I try to play with attention to detail and composition.
The chance to share my pictures with people who share my

There’s many ways to enter the world of photography. I took the
long road – and I feel it’s starting to pay off. After my professional
education, focusing on design, layout and typography, I discovered
the business side of the field by running an ad studio for five
years. Missing the artistic element, I switched to one of the major
Amsterdam photo labs, where I got to work with Photoshop,
refining and touching up the images of many of the great Dutch
photographers. Wanting to see the larger picture, my next step
was to get involved in the international advertisement world. As
a graphic designer an international advertising agency, I’ve been
working for a number of high-end companies, with a strong
personal emphasis on the visual aspect of our major productions.
And then, after all those years of working with the images of fellow
professionals, I suddenly felt the urge to look at the world through
my own viewfinder. To decide what I want others to see. To pick my
moment to release the shutter. This is what that looks like.

Since then I’ve been having the same desire that I want to take a picture of the women I love as beautiful as the women on that poster, but I haven’t so far. I will continue to take photos whether or not I accomplish my desire; I’m not sure if the day would come.

I was born in Cagliari 37 years ago. I became interested in
photography after the birth of my second daughter, after a
tough period in my life where I realized that I do not have
memories, that I have not taken the time to record any images
in the mind. I had a huge emptiness inside. With the help of
photography I filled that void, and I found a way to see and
hear what is around me in a way completely different from
before. It ‘a new world, is my world.

Fotografo da oltre 30 anni; è cominciato tutto casualmente
e, giorno dopo giorno, è diventato un mestiere. Come la
maggior parte di chi ha iniziato con l’analogico, ho rifiutato di
considerare la fotografia digitale come tale, quindi per lungo
tempo non ho avuto più voglia di fotografare. Ho ripreso in
maniera sempre più assidua, grazie alla mia Sony ax200
che, essendo compatibile con gli obiettivi della mia amata
Minolta, mi ha fatto ritrovare il gusto per la fotografia,
concepita come immagine sempre in evoluzione. Reputo
l’esperienza con l’analogico una grande scuola che mi
permette di esprimere, ora che sono totalmente convertita
al digitale, la mia creatività in un continuo work in progress.

Mi sono avvicinato alla fotografia all’età di 17 anni circa, in quegli anni fotografavo paesaggi e amici. Nel 1995 mi sono trasferito a Dalmine e nello stesso periodo grazie al suo fondatore ho conosciuto il Circolo Fotografico Marianese, dove poi ho frequentato un corso di fotografia, dove ho conosciuto amici con la mia stessa passione, con cui confrontarmi, e dove ho appreso quella tecnica che oggi mi permette di fare delle buone foto. I miei soggetti fotografici variano, mi piace fotografare un po’ di tutto, dettagli, paesaggi, notturni, etc. non ho in realtà un ramo specifico, spazio in tutto ciò che mi attira fotograficamente. Considero la fotografia una parte di me, una parte con un ruolo molto importante nella mia vita, principalmente un hobby, capace però di trasmettermi una pace assoluta, di rilassarmi, di estraniarmi dallo stress quotidiano, dai problemi, dalle preoccupazioni, etc. etc.

nato 53 anni fà.....mi avvicino alla Fotografia in modo diciamo serio verso l’età di 30 anni... Ma dopo una breve crisi fotografica durata qulache anno ..ricomincio con vera passione con l’inizio del nuovo millennio . Frequento vari corsi, tra qui degli Stage con qualche Fotografo famoso per apprendere principalmente la tecnica , la composizione l’inquadratura la gestiione della luce e del colore .Poi il resto viene dalla mia testa ...dal mio occhio dalla passione . Amante delle Foto paesaggistiche ....mi sono ultimamente innamorato del minimalismo ..in tutti i sensi da quello urbano, a quello di paesaggio.... in poche parole ... pochi elementi essenziali della vita, generatori di semplicità ed eleganza. La mia attrezzatura non è professionale ..ma mi basta , anche perchè sono dell’idea come dice un noto Fotografo :Chi non sa fare una foto interessante con un apparecchio da poco prezzo, ben difficilmente otterrà qualcosa di meglio con la fotocamera dei suoi sogni.
