In 2018, JDRF’s generous donors supported incredible progress in research advances, advocacy, educational outreach and catalytic commercial investments in T1D.

Their support helped achieve key breakthroughs in two truly promising areas in cure – Beta Cell Research and Immunotherapy Research. Moving this work forward with all possible speed is critical, but also, because of its complex nature, is increasingly expensive. Together, our community pushes for discoveries, connections and dramatic results that we know will change the future of T1D tomorrow.

At the same time, this remarkable group of supporters has helped improve the lives of those with T1D, today. This past fiscal year, the FDA released eight approvals for T1D technology and treatments that will make people healthier and save lives. Many more promising projects are on the horizon; and we simply could not do this work without the contributions of all our donors and volunteers.

Thank you, for all you do for everyone in the T1D Community.
