4 year old Hayden Wright was picked up at at 1:45 am by a routine neighborhood police patrol and taken to the hospital for alcohol consumption. He was found drinking a 12 ounce beer taken from his grandfathers cooler and wearing a dress he had stolen from a neighbor's home, where he found the door unlocked, along with 4 other Christmas gifts.

Hayden’s mother, April Wright, said when interviewed by local TV station WTVC that Hayden”just wanted to visit his father”. Wright is divorcing her husband, who according to court records is currently serving jail time for nine charges including possession of drugs, driving under the influence, aggravated burglary and theft, continued by saying “Hayden figured if his dad did something wrong and went to jail, then if he did something wrong he would go to jail also and then he could visit his father”.

Chattanooga's Child Protective Services spent some time with April and told her she will not have her son taken away from her.

Isa 58:2Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

"Walk a little slower, Daddy!" said a little child so small."I'm following in your footsteps and I don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast, sometimes,  They're hard to see;So walk a little slower Daddy, for you are leading me.

Someday when I'm all grown up, you're what I want to be.Then I will have a little child who'll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right, and know that I was true. So, walk a little slower, Daddy, for I must follow you!!”
