    Process:-Rim loading on rim conveyor

    Process Objective:-To assemble the rimput rim on the conveyor.

    Key points :-

    1.Ensure the valve hole must be on downside.

    2.Check the astatic defect (scoring

    mark ,butt weld defect, valve hole&marking on front side, air leak test punch)

    Process:-Rim position as per drawing

    Process Objective:-With help of the valvehole sensor do positioning the valve hole asper drawing.

    Key points :-

    1.Ensure the valve hole must be down side

    2.Valve hole position must be as perdrawing.

    Process:-Disc loading on disc conveyor

    Process Objective:-To assemble the discPut on conveyor.

    Key points :-

    1.Disc crown area must be on front side oras per picture.

    2.Check the astatic defect(scratch/line

    mark, bolt hole, vent hole damage)

    Process:-Disc positioning w.r.t to bolt

    holeProcess Objective:-With help of bolt holesensor do positioning the disc as per drg.

    Key points :-

    1.Disc front side area must be on upperside.

    Process Objective:-Feed the disc in rimfor assy.

    Key points :-

    1.Disc bolt hole & rim valve hole positionmust be as per drawing.

    Process:-Disc & rim press fit operation

    Process Objective:-Press the disc & rimwith help of hydraulic press as perdrawing.

    Key points :-

    1.Check the assy dimension as per spec.

    2.Marking position on disc as per drawing,defect free in visual.

    Process:-MIG welding on wheel

    Process Objective:-To joint the disc & rimdo MIG welding on wheel.

    Key points :-1.Mig welding position as per drg.

    2.Welding length ,weld penetration,porosity, undercut, weld shift to rim & disc

    etc.

    Process:-Clean the weld spatter on wheel

    Process Objective:-With help of chiselclean the all weld spatter.

    Key points :-

    1.No any spatter on weld & disc.

    2.Weld defect porosity, undercut, pin hole,weld crack etc.

    Process:-Calibrate the wheel on

    calibration m/cProcess Objective:-With help ofcalibration tool calibrate the wheel

    Key points :-

    1.Check the 4bolt hole pin must be in atool.

    2.Wheel must be clean before thecalibration operation.

    3.All 4spacer must be solid & locked.

    4.Check the astatic defect (calibrationtool mark, bolt hole damage etc.)

    Process:-Runout checking on ROT m/c.

    Process Objective:-Runout checking withhelp of ROT m/c.

    Key points :-

    1.Wheel front side must be on upper side.

    2.Wheel ,roller & fixture must be clean.

    3.Check the runout limit as per drawing.

    Process:-Wheel final inspection

    Process Objective:-Wheel visual inspectionby Quality like dent mark ,mig welddefect, line mark, pin hole,weld crack etc.

    Key points :-

    1.Ensure the inspector having knowledgeabout Wheel defect( porosity, undercut,weld shift, tool mark etc.)

    2.He must be know about MARU-A, safety& critical characteristics of wheel.
