LOW PRESSURE LAMINATE FACE PANELSLow pressure laminate face panels provide a multipurpose, economical

finish for Spacesaver Wheelhouse™ High-Density Mobile Storage

Systems, have an attractive, clean appearance and feature the durability

to wear well in high-traffic areas.

DESIGN AND CAPABILITIESSpacesaver’s Low Pressure Laminate (LPL) panels provide a low-pressure, melamine alternative for finishing the faces and tops of mobile storage system ranges. The 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick panels with particle board cores offer an easy-to-clean, decorative surface on both sides. LPL panels are thermally fused for built-in durability. Delamination is impossible, and their resistance to stains, scratches, abrasions, chip-out, burnishing, steam and radiant heat means added durability. They are available in selected designer colors and patterns that blend with any decor, and they can be sized to fit any surface of a system that needs to be finished.

1. As face panels.

• with decorative tube spacers: powered and mechanical assist systems require extra space between storage housings and face panels to accommodate system controls and safety devices. Manual systems require extra space to accommodate waist-high locks and future upgrades to mechanical assist or powered operation.

2. As canopy tops or counter tops when stationary or mobile ranges are work-surface height.

• with black T-mold edge banding: when panel edges are exposed.

• with unfinished edges: when panel edges are concealed or aligned adjacent to each other and a tight seam is desired.

LOW PRESSURE LAMINATE FACE PANELS:All exposed ends (refer to drawings) to have low-pressure laminate panels. (Color to be selected from manufacturer’s standards.) Panels shall be 3/4" (19 mm) thick and constructed of a 45 lb./cu. ft. (720 kg/m3) density particle board core and shall have decorative faces on both sides. All visible exposed edges shall be finished with decorative black tube spacers.
