Strengths: • Vines grow to 4 feet tall (1.2 meters)• Big, fat peas

Bonus:• One of Thomas Jefferson’s favorite kind of peas. Sometimes

he planted them twice a year.

Drawbacks:• Ripens later than other garden peas

Other:• Instead of picked fresh, this pea is dried on the vine. The

dried peas must be soaked overnight before being cooked.
