February 4th Moonlight Ski and SnowshoePostponed WILTON – The February 4th Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe event at WiltonWildlife Preserve & Park is being postponed due to the lack of snowfall that hasresulted in icy and hazardous trail conditions. Instead, this popular event will bemoved to the back-up date of Saturday, March 3. All other aspects of the free eventwill remain the same. The event on March 3 will begin at 6pm from the ScoutRoad entrance to Camp Saratoga and run until 9:30pm. Sweethearts(R) have featured different sayings throughout the years, and starting in the 1990'sbegan higher-tech phrases, such as "Fax Me," and "E-mail Me." In 2009, the company asked theAmerican public to tell how they express feelings of affection. The 2010 series of Sweethearts(R)featured customer-provided sayings and bright, bold colors. The candies also were revamped tobe softer and more enjoyable to eat.

MVC Scholarship CompetitionCAPITAL REGION – In 1992, the first Mohawk Valley Chorusscholarship winner was selected. The annual competition isupon us once again. It is open to any high school junior or seniorwithin the area: Albany, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery,Saratoga, Schenectady and Schoharie counties. Deadline is February 20. Apanel of qualified MVC judges will review the tapes and final-ists may be asked to perform at a live audition.
