Free drop-in - Ages 1-4 24 October 1.30pm Circus Skills Workshop Learn some fabulous circus skills from the guys at Creative Palaver - cavort with a diablo, just juggle or pick up some poi. £8 - Ages 6+ 26 October 9.30am Green Screen Workshop Your imagination is the only limit! Using green screen technology under expert tuition you will contribute to a short film and learn some great skills too! £10 - Ages 6+ 26 October 1.30pm Stop motion animation Using toys, plasticine and your imagination you will work as group to make a short animated film and develop your modelling, photographic and creative skills. £10 - Age 6+ 27 October 9.30am Poetry Workshop I want to be a Giant Balloon! If you write poems, you know you’ve got the freedom to write about anything! You can pretend you are someone or something other than yourself. In this session, we will be looking at persona poems using rhyme and alliteration. I wonder what object you will choose to be? £10 - Ages 6+ 28 October 9.30am and 1.30pm History Heroes Come and have some educational fun in these extended sessions based on the fabulous History Heroes game. Get active and exercise your grey matter in a variety of games celebrating the greats from history! £6 - Ages 6+ 29 October 9.30am Print your own book bag Decorate a cotton bag with your favourite characters from books, using a variety of techniques. £10 - Ages 5+ 29 October 1.30pm Book Making Make and decorate a beautiful handmade book in this crafty workshop. Use paper and card and learn some useful techniques. £10 - Ages 8+ 30 October 9.30am Creative Writing What is the recipe of a good dream? Immerse yourself in a place where dreams are thought up. Creative writing: stories, articles, recipes and poetry; about make-believe situations will help your writing take on a life of its very own. £10 - Ages 6+ 30 October 3.00pm Rachel Sambrooks Workshop Rachel has been performing poetry, stories and funny stuff to children and adults since the early 1990s. She has been a creative in schools, art galleries and arts centres and loves working with children, having two of her own to inspire her. She is a children’s storyteller having worked in a variety of settings. Learn some skills and have fun in this interactive, out loud workshop. £12 - Ages 8+ 29 October between 10.00am – 1.00pm Willow Weaving Taster Session Free drop in willow taster session. Come and make Halloween wands and brooms with our master willow weaver!
